KEEPING THE FEET WARM December, my most favourite month and we will be getting our first snowfall this week. Winter is not complete without SNOW.  Yes, some of us love the snow for different reasons and then some hate it. But I choose to enjoy the snowy white stuff well it lasts, that is one thing about living in the city, there is not much snow , usually it melts away in a few days.  So well it does get colder, a pair of boots to wear is one of the things needed. Whether a pair of dressier   or a nice casual boot, these boots work well. Whether you live in the city or enjoy the outdoors  there are boots for anytime. A TALL BOOT knee high boots are on trend but really when didn't a high boot go out of style. Its a perfect item to wear with dresses or slacks. Some with a nice heel or a low heel,  you can't go wrong with these boots.       CASUAL OUTDOORS love a good flat boot for walking or taking a hike outdoors , these ones are ideal. love this p...

MAD FOR PLAID IT seems when the cooler temperatures begin and season is changing from fall to winter, I start to think of plaid. Why?  That is something i don't know, but there is something about plaid, checks and tweeds that reminds me of this time of year.  Maybe because it is such  traditional fall print. Well today I thinking about something in plaid , there are a lot of ways to wear a plaid, a simple scarf or a pair of slacks.   Even checks is another option  . So today i thought i share an idea of styling a few simple dresses.  Styling with a pair of leggings, ankle boots, or just a great pair of knee high boots . STYLE one : TRADITIONAL with Twist  wear with a  leather biker or blazer , add a simple belt over.      STYLE two :  BUSINESS SMART  A nice long sleeve look , pair with  a camel, black or leopard print coat.  Add a scarf .     STYLE three ...

DRESSING FOR THE COLD 🎄🏂🎄🎄🏂🏂🎄🎄🎄 Holiday time is when some of us head outside, whether to go skating, tobogganing or skiing.  Nothing is worst than having cold feet or being cold. I can say I do know about is cold feet, having spent time living in a extreme cold climate with temperatures  minus 30s ,  its one thing i can say is not fun. We were always out in the winter whether on hikes or skiing.  Staying warm and comfortable  was very important . So here are some necessary items that will keep you warm .  I should mention if you are out in the cold don't wear your jeans, they really are not warm enough and if get wet your going to be freezing cold. HEAD to TOE outfit SOCKS starting with the feet, a good sock   wool  mix or   other,  avoid cotton ones. THERMAL wear is next, it helps to keep you warm and dry  Fleece polar is also great to wear over , whether pants or top , it stays dry, ...

IS  IT SPRING OR IS IT WINTER? Middle of March and it seemed like spring had arrived finally. I am sure like most people they were feeling happy to have the warmer temperatures too. After the winter temperatures that hit all of Europe - then last week  it was so warm and sunny with 14C. It was such a relieve to not have to bundle up in so much winter wear. But sadly it was  not going to last, the weekend will bring us snow again.  So what to do  or wear when the temperates yoyo up and down like that?  It is for me the most difficult time.  Can you wear only a light coat, or cover up with winter coat? Never know exactly. I usually go for a knit top under a light coat or  option 2 winter coat with lighter clothes under. WARMING UP when it is still chilly! RAINY TIMES CALL FOR GOOD RAIN CLOTHES AND SOME OF MY FAVORITES ARE THE HELLY HANSON LINE, THEY HAVE GREAT STYLES AND  HAVE  FASHIONS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.  I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE JACKETS  THAT  COVERS YOU WELL IN A DOWNPOUR  AND THEY LOOK SO CUTE TOO.    THE RAINBOOTS  FIT PERFECTLY WITH THE JACKETS.  I JUST CANT MAKE UP MY MIND WHICH  ONE TO PICK, THEY ARE SO  FUN AND STYLISH LOOKING.  ANCHORS OR STRIPES ??

Seems like winter arrived in Vienna now! The wind is freezing cold (for me to say that is strange) because coming from a cold country with temperatures that were well below -10C ,  this weather is different feeling. It is the dampness that really makes one feel its even colder. Good thing though, there are sales on winter things now ! So i can get some extra woolies for the cold - mitts , togs and such.  GREAT FIND. THIS ADORABLE BOMBER JACKET, DIFFERENT WITH THE LARGE COLLAR .  COZY WARM!!!

KEEPING WARM AND COMFORTABLE. Winter is the time we all love to get those warm sweater, tops and coats  on   but still look stylish, comfortable and warm. A classic cable knit sweater, flat boots and a great fleece lined coat. A nice casual look to relax in at home or on holiday trip. Packing this along,   casual  knit tops ,  comfortable slacks, scarf, boots and some furry mitts. Definitely something one needs!
