LE CHIC MODE

Most people think of boating along the Venice canals or in Amsterdam or seeing places like Paris or Rome as their number one holiday destination. For sure those places are the most visited cities in Europe. But to my surprise Berlin  is getting to be more a trendy place with work , fashions and film festivals. If you plan a trip there, then a day trip on one of the river cruise boats is definitely a good way to see the the city from a different view. And it is so relaxing. Spending a leisurely 2 -3 hours on a boat enjoying the sunshine and having a nice lunch on the top deck.  Now that is a holiday! Here are a few views of Berlin  along the river Spree. With views of the old and modern architecture, houseboats and floating restaurants,  and  other interesting things. Hope you enjoy and perhaps take a river cruise and visit Berlin. WELL I AM LOOKING AT ALL THE LOVELY FASHIONS FROM THE RUNWAYS AND THE TALL MODELS I STARTED TO THINK…... WHO IS THERE IN THE FASHION NEWS THAT ARE NOT SO TALL?  MUCH TO MY SURPRISE  THERE ARE A LOT OF LADIES THAT ARE UNDER 5 -4inches (165cm )  AND LOOK STUNNING IN THEIR FASHIONABLE OUTFITS. ONE  WHO IS CLOSE TO A FASHION HOUSE AND SEEN AT THE FASHION SHOWS (YSL, GUCCI)  IS ACTRESS SALMA HAYEK.  SHE LOOKS GREAT  AND IS CLOSE TO 50. SO BEAUTIFUL! THEN THERE ARE THE OLSEN TWINS   AND LOVELY MUSICAL STAR SHAKIRA .  SOME OTHERS  SUCH AS  EVA LONGORIA,  MILA KUNIS,  JADA PINKETT SMITH (WILL SMITHs WIFE),  AND  OSCAR WINNER NATALIE PORTMAN.   JUST TO NAME OF FEW. SO SEEING THESE LADIES THAT ARE PETITE HEIGHT  IT IS REALLY IS NICE TO KNOW  FASHION IS NOT ONLY FOR TALL GALS .  IT IS NOT ALWAYS HOW TALL OR SHORT  A PERSON IS, BUT HOW ONE DRESSES  THAT CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. THE RIGHT STYLES, PROPORTIONS AND CUT FOR ONES STATURE  IS WHAT CAN REALLY MAKE THE BIG

The fashion world and industry have a new MODEL now, the PLUS size  category . Lately there has been a lot of news on the models that are  so called plus size. From Ashley Graham making news as the first so called plus size model on the Sports illustrated cover and others like the 25 year old UK model Iskra Lawrence. Well its about time the fashion industry came to see the light - not all woman are size 2 and 6 feet tall and look  the same .  If we were all the same size , then there be only 1 look , 1 size and  it would be a bit boring  .  People come in all sizes, shapes and colors  and are not a simply a one look or size. So now the fashion industry has a new prospective on REAL woman and is making changes to INCLUDE more of the norm   (mind you even these models are taller  and plus size 14 or so) This to me is not really PLUS size and these beautiful girls  are more curvy or LUSH looking. And why is it so important to add this  definition to woman's fashion.  PLU

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU THINK OF ATHLETIC CLOTHES OR SPORTWEAR?? PROBABLY LIKE ME  YOU THINK OF ADIDAS OR SOME OTHER MAJOR ATHLETIC WEAR COMPANY. CHANEL WELL BIG SURPRISE  NOW THE TOP FASHION DESIGNERS, STELLA McCARTNEY, CHANEL, VERSACE ARE ON TO THIS LOOK AND MAKING IT LOOK FASHIONABLE TO WEAR THE THINGS YOU WEAR TO PLAY GOLF OR TENNIS IN   A FASHION MUST.  FROM JOGGING SUITS TO LEISURE WEAR THE LOOK  OR STYLES ARE VERY SHARP AND DEFINITELY NOT GYM ATTIRE. MORE A CASUAL SHOPPING TRIP OR PARK OUTING.  BOTTEGA VENETTA I CERTAINLY  CAN SAY  I LIKE SOME OF THE DESIGNS. THE SPARKLE TOPS, LEOPARD TRIM JACKETS, THE PASTEL TENNIS SET .
