THE CLASSIC TRENCH COAT The Trench coat, a almost iconic coat that has been worn by so many from actors in films to everyday people. I have one that is vintage with a wool liner, the shade is not the best on me.  So finding a newer one was a option. I found a  nice one in a nice caramel shade, not to light or dark.  It is the classic double breasted with the belt , but without the shoulder epaulets which I like, a more streamline look.   GETTING INTO THE FESTIVE SPIRIT Though the Christmas holidays will probably have less activities, not so many outings or events to attend, I still feel I would like to celebrate the time and get a bit more dressed up.  I love to dress up for the holidays! Though this year there aren't any office parties or visits with friends or family. We have been in second lockdown , so whether things change it is unlikely we will be entertaining family or friends this year.  We had some snow just lately, and it looked wonderful . PINK FOREVER Its maybe not everyones favourite color, but you will see it more and more in fashion. Especially with accessories or shoes. I personally love some pink, especially a hot pink, not the pale pinks.  A few of my favourite pieces is a hot pink sweater cardigan that i can pair with black navy, grey, white or beige. The combinations are endless.  It just brightens up an outfit alot! From a simple pink scarf worn with a coat or blazer it adds spark to the look. Fall or winter will soon arrive but that is no reason not to go bold and wear some colour! A nice look with pink top and trouser with pink stripe. HAVING A BEIGE MOMENT The shade beige is really a very versatile colour. It goes with so many other colors and prints. Whether you like to mix it up with other colors or patterns is something to consider. Sometimes an all over neutral can start to look a bit boring, but if you add patterns and some color it changes the look. One way to make a simple change is by adding a pattern. The beige linen blazer that is in previous post is one piece that i can change in so many ways. Today I paired it with a flared skirt. The leopard print which also reverses to a striped print. A skirt that can be worn two different ways. MY KIND OF STYLE Yes, Valentines Day is just around the corner for those that celebrate or not.  I am a BIG romantic and of course it is always nice to get flowers and make a special day of it. Sometimes we dress up  or if going casual, then a more comfortable look is an option Here is one look I would wear for a casual night out. A simple cable knit pullover ( on sale), pair of leather slacks or jeans/check print slack, a modern look necklace, large mens style watch and a animal print handbag.   The faux fur wrap I wear over my  l eather biker jacket for extra warmth. COMFORT IS KEY! So what does one wear when travelling? Slacks, dress, skirts, jeans? What do you like to travel in? My usual outfit is a pair of slacks , top , a nice blazer or jacket and some fun accessories.  But it maybe is time for a change.  When I found this one jumpsuit i was thinking  , hmm not so keen on wearing a one piece, but thought try it on and see what it looks like. Well it look fine, fit well and was extremely comfortable. One problem I found in the past jumpsuits can be to short in the back so to sit its not great. But this one has a longer cut so its loose and airy feeling. Ideal for travelling  in the summer. OUTFIT for TRAVEL A great look and comfortable is important when travelling. ,Straw bags are big this summer , I have always loved a straw bag, its fun and casual look is nice way to change the look of an outfit. Well finally it is FRIDAY. - a drab ,cold, rainy day here. For such a day I thought I pick something with color.  A comfortable red knit dress , with a navy blazer or my new favorite red blanket scarf. T his thing was really big - not what I expected when I ordered it, but now its perfect to wear  over the dress , casual or even over a coat.  I also love the smaller purse I found  (on sale) , a bit different shape  . I have to say, I don't mind the fall  and with the cooler temperatures  it is nice to have a stylish coat , poncho or wrap.  I found one I really like.  A classic plaid . I can dress it up or wear it with a pair of slacks or dark jeans for a casual outing. For now I choice to dress it up  with a simple black dress, smart ankle boots and a favorite red purse.
