Denim works Fall time is when I seem to have a desire to wear more denim outfits.  Whether it’s a dress or blazer it just feels perfect for this time of year. Also , maybe it reminds me of returning to college  Here are a few denim looks , pieces that I think are perfect  from shirt dresses to a simple denim blazer. Accessories also can add a lot to an outfit, a classic watch , a colorful scarf , or a knit dress worn under a blazer  for a comfy warm feel. Denim has also appeared on the fashion runways .

In The Closet After getting the new trench coat and giving it a steaming to get t the wrinkles out , hanging it in the closet  I noticed the different styles of coats  I have collected over the last ten years.  Some I barely wore, others worn daily.  Mostly I have neutral shades. From a camel coat to the leopard print, a navy peacoat .the always worn leather biker jacket . Then a newer winter coat that I absolutely love with its wrap style and fur trimmed hood.  One style I haven’t got are more casual sporty types .  I have been eyeing a few  like the quilted jacket style . They are lightweight, windproof and probably warmer on those rainy windy days .  Here are a few that might be ideal Some color for fall I think is great or a neutral shade .    

Classic Fall Styling A definite change in the weather with rain showers off and on. So will need to start wearing a coat when out.   A classic is the trench coat . There a re so many styles versions to find.  Find ing the right one with a style one likes can take some time. I like a trench with not to much fuss , simple clean lines , plus the right color. Sometimes shades can be tricky in the store lights. I like a darker beige shade , so I finally found it. Wear it with slacks ,a simple striped top and  comfortable shoes.  Or dress it up .  The   Trench

Nail Repair  So annoying the other day I ripped the corner of my fingernail but then it tore even more to the middle. So i thought maybe I can fix it . Checked online and viola. Found a way to repair a broken nail  Really quite simple with a teabag and superglue. Yes really and it works for a simple fast fix. Steps  take a teabag cut open remove tea  cut a piece to about size of nail  to cover . No need to be precise.  Get superglue spread small amount on nail to cover  , using tweezers place teabag on nail , press in place  Let dry then cut away any bits of the teabag.  Says to buff after but I didn’t, as it might tear the material  But it does work for a quick fix . Apply your nail polish as usual. Voila  DIY Nail Repair  The middle nail repaired   

 FINISHING TOUCHES Somedays one has to pay special attention to ones personal care from taking care  of ones body, skin ,hair and nails . Finding time  to  spend getting these things done can  Take several hours . Also finding the right products to use .  I recently bought a new manicure set for traveling , it’s very compact and handy. Comes in handy if I need to trim or file a nail in a hurry.   I also found a new nail polish to try.  Getting Sporty  Thought it was time to get a few new items for doing more physical activities. I am not a gym sort  I prefer to be outdoors or at home   One new thing I am trying is yoga . Trying to get more flexible . After the last years of lockdowns the body needs some help  I also like cycling so biker shorts might be nice to wear under a dress  Here are a few pieces I found   The knee length biker shorts will be handy worn with a t short over  , that and a sports bra So have you started any new sport activity? Tried something new? 

Great styles Whether you like dresses or slacks in the summer I found some lovely looks for summer- try on cool whites or flowy skirts to look cool and stylish .  From a nice skirt and top or an all white look it fits the bill for summer in the city.   Another great casual look simple jeans and tank top with added light Cardigan I have to say I love loose fitting clothes that keeps one feeling cooler  Enjoy your summer looking cool

   The Business of Fashion  The internet has spawned a enormous amount of fashion blogs and influencers.   It has become the thing that many young girls dream of doing. Becoming a influencer on the internet.  Sure it looks glamorous, having a fashion closet filled with the latest fashions , the trendy pieces .  But not as simple and easy as that .  It takes years , time and money .  Here is a very interesting article all about this industry of fashion .     SUMMER in the CITY   The last few days we have had t some  extreme heat  , so when the heat is on then we love to be by the water or lounging by the swimming pool; so I have been looking for anew swimsuit Here is one that would be nice. Simple design with plunging neck and crossover straps on the back. Of course a sunhat , sunglasses and a good sunscreen is a must . Enjoy the summer.

  DENIM APPEAL  I have to admit  i don't wear jeans  i found them to be so uncutfortable, stiff and to hot to wear in the summer.  But a nice denim dress is another matter .  A loose fitting shirt style denim dress is another option.  It has that casual feel look and wears well.. I had a few denim shirt style dresses with long sleeves, but I found them to hot to wear in the summer.  Luckily I found a nice light weight sleeveless  Denim dress to wear.  I like the casual style with a nice flat sandal, wicker bag and of course sunglasses.                                                

 SPRING AHEAD  Okay our clocks were set ahead  on the weekend and on Monday I was totally exhausted that hour earlier did it. Hope you handled the time change better.   On the bright side it is SPRING and the weather has been very hot here.   Which makes me feel like I need a new spring outfit. Had my eyes on a nice midi dress , plus my birthday is coming up in April . so a gift idea  was also something I wouldn't mind. Hinting . SPRING STYLING The dress is lovely wrap style with a flounce bottom  in a vibrant colour just right for the spring  summer season a nice dress for holidaying, dinners out or whatever.   THE EXTRA I love jewelry and something simple that can be worn daily without any problems is what I prefer  I found a great necklace in 14k gold, the reason i like it I have the exact same bracelet to match. Think its nice to have a set.  Plus the price was reasonable. 

 Like the title says.... long time, no see. It's been awhile since I have posted anything , one of those things when one has no inspiration. It's been such a roller coaster last few years for all of us.   So I hope most of you are doing well and keeping sane. FASHION was really one of the least important things....  after so many lockdowns . Why dress up when easy dressing was the thing. Lounge wear, sweatpants or sleepwear  were so comfortable.    I know some blogger were great at posting their  casual stay at home styles.  Well the more I  got to thinking the blog became less of interest, and I just needed a break. But now with spring around the corner I hope to get back into posting a bit more. Starting with the new film that is out , House of Gucci story. I had no idea that was the world of  Gucci, the crime.  It looks very interesting , especially with Lady Gaga in the key role  of the wife and Adam Driver playing the part of Gucci.    Have you seen the film?  Another inte
