1st WEEK in NEW YEAR// lifestyle

HOW GREAT WAS IT? Welcome to the New Year everyone! I guess most of us made it through the holidays with many happy memories and special moments.  I will say ours was a very quiet event, other then New Years eve was extremely loud, all over the city people were setting off fireworks.  But all in all it was a great night  with a few traditional things like the GLucksbringers . A lucky treat or goodie, that is eaten , then before midnight a british comedy skit is shown called, Dinner for one. It is so popular here and in Germany.   So the celebrations are over and it seems  like a daze to me.  How quickly it came and went.  Its the start of the new year and many of us make a list of resolutions.  Sometimes it works, sometimes not.   I will say i am not one to make a list (other then grocery list, or other necessary things).   But I can see why some do,, its like a kick start into getting going.   The only thing ...

WELCOMING 2018 .... what is your resolution for 2018?? Usually people start the new year with  their NEW YEARS resolutions like diets, gym or marathons etc.  I use to maybe  mentally have  good intentions to start, but after some months it comes to end -  like most people so i have read. Goals that are not met can make it worst for a person , according to a study done. So why make resolutions?   No one wants to fail or not reach a goal. So if gym membership does not work , then do something else you like to do -  walking, swimming , skiing or dancing.   An activity you enjoy is more likely to be the one you will keep doing. Resolutions -  I don't bother to make  any and truth is works much better for me.
