1 SHOE - changing heels Shoes, purses are  a passion for me - like a lot of women. You can never have enough shoes.Shoes for me  are the finishing to an outfit, like the icing on a cake. A great shoe can really take a outfit to another level,   if you wear jeans and add a great heel it gets a totally wow look, then a pair of runners.  I love  shoes  and have worn heels since forever , but sore feet and aching back, then its nice to change into a flat comfortable shoe. And a nice looking one. A simple thing right? Well now you can actually change your shoes look . with a click of a heel. ITs now available and a very interesting idea , i thought.   Take one shoe and change the heel. One company is in France, created by a canadian girl, She got the idea and now sells these great looking shoes in France. BACK IN STYLE .. WHO KNEW?? Yes the fanny pack is back . Gucci had it on the runway and  plenty more of them.to come this season I am sure. I remember when the fanny was popular for runners or the more older adults but now its going to be making a comeback.   They are compact and easy to find things in, keys, cards, phone and  a lipstick. I must say they are looking way more chic then the ones i  remember .   Here are few fannies packs for those that want to wear it with their jeans, knits tops, or a pair of leather  slacks.  That would be my style . OCTOBER the best time for the tastebuds! I could not wait to share some of the things to do in the city. And of course its some great things  to tempt the tastebuds. Firstly the city is known for its GREAT coffee houses and there are so many to try. Coffee houses are the heart of Vienna from the famous Sacher Cafe to Landtmann  and many, many more.  Not only are coffeehouses important but the  museums throughout are amazing  . So October is really really a great time of year too. I love fall so this will be a great way to start the season. IS YOUR HAIR COLOR  IMPORTANT at WORK???? I recently read a very interesting article about how a woman are treated differently according to the color of their hair -  Blonde or Brunette.  It is about a young woman who was blond but changed her hair color to a brunette, wore glasses, no makeup and no heels. Why ?  Because she felt it was the  way for her to get more respect at the workplace and be taken more seriously. So what is it about the blonde image? Is it all the images that are in magazines that show woman in sexist ways or less bright?  The brunette is seen as more competent or decisive. Whereas a blonde woman is considered the opposite. I am a natural blonde and I certainly am not a model. but still considered attractive. I like to wear makeup, heels and dress attractively.  I have also worked in a male dominated workplace, and only once can I say the idea of being a ditzy blonde was mentioned by male co worker, to which I immediately made it clear to him - such

TO SKINNY OR TO FAT It has finally happened,  2 major big fashion houses DIOR and Gucci have decided that the models they have on the runways will have to be a certain size. No more super skinny  and hurray to that. Time that it happened and shows that woman need to be healthy and not overly thin.  Of course the fashion houses , fashion designers want to show the  clothes so they appeal to women consumers. But most  woman are not size 0 , or model size. Don't get me wrong I love fashions and  all the beautiful clothes.  But fit and healthy is important for young girls growing up . Its something when i was younger never thought about, being super thin . I suppose I was more a tomboy or sport lover. So worrying about my size never really mattered.  Of course now as older, its even more important but sadly much harder. No longer the size small or medium.     But more important is to be healthy, whatever ones size. Be it an XS or XL  its your HEALTH that matters most.

5 STYLES FOR SEPTEMBER to TRY Not sure how everyone else fills about the month of September but it is in some ways nice. T he leaves changing and the temperatures are cooler. Summer was extremely HOT  and  I for one don't care for temperature over 30C.  So September is a BIG relief. Now we are all getting back to the work or in the school ,college, university mode. (I am a part time student but still  I feel its nice to wear outfits that are more casually comfortable. ) So what does one wear for back to school styles. Denim or jeans, t-shirts .. okay. but its nice to maybe try something different and have another look that will work later for the work world. THE TWEED OR CHECK . work or school? this top is great for fall wear it with slack or  black skirt.   GREAT 2 PiECE  . tweed is always great in the fall and this one i love. top is versatile and the skirt .. what can i say, love love love it.  Great work piece . TWEED OR CHECK PRINT Fall it seems is when tweeds or checks appear  for the fall season. Tweed blazer, slacks or skirts  are something we can always use in our closet. It is a definite print that works well in a more casual  style - wear it with denim ,or sportswear a hoodie or  nice knit dress. And a pair of over the knee  boots. or a patent leather skirt.  A very chic look.  Tweeds alway make me think British . It really is a smart look if you pair it with something else - not head to toe tweed.   (My favourite tweed blazer is still hanging  in the closet. a dark brown with some red . and those leather patched elbows. The cut is more feminine and its great worn over a scarlet red knit. It more or less a staple for fall, its  works well with denim too.)  So give tweed a try this fall.  A new season and a new look to try.
