The uniform can be something you like to wear more often, whether its a  simple t-shirt, or  a dress. The one outfit you would grab first to wear for the day. I have certain outfits , favourites I like to wear more often then others: one is a classic style - a simple black (one shoulder) dress with a blazer , a tote and wedge shoes; the other more casual look was a pair of slacks with plenty of pockets, a tunic shirt and tank top  worn under.  Now for summer it has been a  A-line dress with a cardigan, sandals and straw tote. A FEW THINGS.... shopping , fashions, trips? Well it is nearly the end of July, like many places the news is all about the virus. It can get overwhelming for many. We have been through lockdown, but like some European countries things slowly started to open( carefully mind you).  Borders opened then closed, but still some are open. Meanwhile we have been taking it careful. I had been looking forward to a trip in the spring, that didn't happen. But sooner or later we might be  taking a short trip just  a nice change of scenery.   I thought I should get something different to wear just in case plus the sales are in full swing. Well June came and went , and July arrived with  temperatures above normal. ITs a HEATWAVE. So where , what to do and more importantly what to wear? I find i don't really feel like wearing anything to tight  prefer loose fitting  , comfortable, cool and light materials. Something light airy and a bit different  Now that some borders to other countries opened up  the idea of a trip is possible. THE VERSATILE CULOTTE If you don't really like to wear a skirt or shorts, how about culottes. It looks like a skirt , but is more like a very loose, longer pair of shorts.  I think they are great to wear if your out travelling and climbing on to trains or planes.  They  are comfortable, yet look bit more dressy depending on how you style them.  Whether with a simple tank top, off the shoulder top, or a fancier blouse. They can also be worn for work by simply adding a blazer.   I adore them for their comfort and especially if I am running around on the metro or hopping on trains.  I prefer a looser fit but not to full that drowns a body in fabric.
