A FEW THINGS.... shopping , fashions, trips?

Well it is nearly the end of July, like many places the news is all about the virus. It can get overwhelming for many. We have been through lockdown, but like some European countries
things slowly started to open( carefully mind you). Borders opened then closed, but still some are open. Meanwhile we have been taking it careful.

I had been looking forward to a trip in the spring, that didn't happen. But sooner or later we might be taking a short trip just a nice change of scenery.

I thought I should get something different to wear just in case plus the sales are in full swing.
A new dress suitable for summer holidays or wearing around town .

SHIRRING... MY STYLE

I am a big fan of polka dots , maxi and midi dresses for summer. So my search for something was worth it. I found my ideal dress - the style is very comfortable with long sleeves, shirred top and open neckline.

Its actually a very small floral print, but looks almost like polka dots. The sleeves and top part have the shirred elastic so it fits close but has stretch ( ideal for fuller busts), plus the length is okay.

Its a cute dress, only thing one needed to size down, as it is very full big, a bit to much material .

Dressing it up - a nice pair of wedge shoes and small bag
Red gives it a pop of colour.

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

Doing Denim I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable. For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short. I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days. Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it. Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets. There are so many ways to style a denim dress. A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

Favorite Things 2023//fashion , items

Favorite things I really didn’t go overboard with any purchases in 2023. Trying to keep to the sustainable fashion idea of shopping my closet or using what I have . Mind you there were somethings I thought about getting like a new pair of sunglasses, some shoes sandals, new purse , but I still need new sunglasses. My old pair has some scratches on them sadly. The two pieces I did get I absolutely love . Firstly a linen blend blazer in cream shade. It goes with so many things so can’t wait to spring to wear it again. Also the new wrap dress I bought in spring. The color I loved , the fit and style is nice to wear for dinners out, parties or weddings. A very versatile piece. The other item was from a previous year but I had forgotten about it was a nice surprise. I wore it over Christmas holidays. and got compliments on it . A knit top with sparkle accents. It was so comfortable and warm . Absolutely loved it. ...
