The actors did the publicity rounds  going to fashion shows etc.  but wait and see how well it does I loved seeing all the different outfits and looks.  Meryl Streep looked fantastic .  I love this look on her .  Another new movie is Michael  based on singer Michael Jackson . I did like some of his songs  he wrote and sang.; so hopefully the movies does him justice.  Senior Beauty Influencer  I recently read article about a senior who posts on Instagram  She lives in Uk and is 103 years young.  Amazing and good for her.  She is a hit and has many followers.  I have to say great for her and seniors. Fashion Week , Olympics and more The month of February was definitely filled with many things to see and do.  One of the biggest events of course was the Winter Olympics in Italy 🇮🇹. I am bjg fan of the winter games. So getting a chsnce to see live was a wow moment.  Of course there were other things to do  the highlights  The carnivals in Venice is always worth seeing. Another thing are the balls held every February in Austria .long flowing gowns and beautiful music   Held At the famous opera house  is a major event..     Sustainability on Fashion  Fashion week in London 🇬🇧 was a mix of new comer designer and the more known. Focused on sustainability  The tiki  Coker  the new Showcase fall winter show.   Getting Ready Yes the fun begins . I must say I look forward to all the events thar begin this month.   Of course the biggest event will be the Olympics in Milan cortina .  Can’t miss that. It’s exciting time for those competing and for those watching.  Here we come Milan.   Other events happening  is Fasching (Germany)  a crazy funny costume event  or the famous Venice carnival .  Venice is fantastic to see anytime , but especially during carnival.  The elaborate costumes are the highlight .  Something not to miss.  Last but not least is the Ball season.  If you love to dance the waltz then head to Austria. The most famous one held is the opera ball  held in the magnificent Opera house.  So much to see and enjoy. 

All about Paris  - spring Summer  CHANEL Brings you FEATHERS   DIOR.  Flowers 🌸  Armani.   The pale shades   All about Paris  - Spring Summer   And it begins  the Fashion designer with their collections. From Chanel  , Dior and many others.  The fashion showcased some interesting effects.  Feathers and embellishments.  Chanel had a whimsical look of a spring garden. Pink blossoming trees and large toadstools 🍄 the Chanel classic  design seemed to be definitely different with the new designer.   I wonder what Ms Wintorthought of it.? I can only say  I am bewildered .  Dior  bring on the hflowers 🌸 . A very monochromatic look with some blossoms scattered in.  Earrings in full bloom. 🌸 I love to see the fashion shows  but this time I’ am scratching my head wondering what the namesakes  would think of it.  Images. Changes … sometimes good Well I am in a bit of daze . Why? Because it seemed like the celebrations flew by to quickly.  Perhaps also  because everything keeps going to fast.  I recently read n article about travel trends and one thing mentioned was trips to places to disconnect from technology. Great idea!  The peace and quiet of not being overloaded with so much is important . One’s mental health and physical health is so important.  Taking things slower . Enjoying the moments as bf not rushing through things. I can recall  how my family we would go Xc skiing , pack thermos of coffee , hot chocolate  snacks and enjoy the day out in nature.  I kept that tradition for my own family. Going skating  ,building a bonfire and tobogganing, roasting hotdogs  kids loved it!  Now I think so many are playing video games and barely being in the outdoors.  I know my son keeps the tradition now.  

  2026  is Here 💥🎉🥂 Well the world celebrates 2026  looking forward  to a more peaceful world .. hopefully.  Last year had its ups and downs .family member seriously ill and some unexpected things . I made some much needed changes in my place  so happy with it.  2026 is a new start !!  Resolutions  Things I will or have wanted to try is painting . I think it’s a soothing way to relax.  Also another thing that fascinated me is the art of Bosai. I got inspired by a video of how it’s done. Seems simple.  Organizing is also on my list. That will take time to do  having to record things  like cataloging everything. Time consuming  Health  fitness is also important lately. I hurt my knee badly  so needs treatment .  Hopefully a trip in spring can be arranged after .  Wishing for everyone good health, happiness and peace in 2026. 

 The Clock is Ticking Getting closer to the special day. I can’t wait. Seeing all the fabulous Christmas lights , listening to the choirs sing and all the wonderful things to celebrate.  Even though I am no longer a kid .. I Love Christmas!!!!  Set  out a few festive decorations . Candles 🕯️ are a must have . Small ones big ones  the glowing light makes it more magical.  Starry ⭐️ night  This year I did not get a big tree , just set a small one on the bookcase unit . A my collection of candles. A large lite star in the window that glows in the dark night.    Next is getting the ingredients for dinner . This year won’t be the typical turkey dinner. Something I made in the past and company loved it. I call it Holiday meatball. A tasty , simple dish  meatballs with a cranberry sauce.  Definitely something different.   So how are your holiday plans going ? Have a wonderful t Christmas everyone.🎅🏻🎄

    Time for more Knitwear As the days are getting cooler feel the need to wear something warmer and comfortable.  I like a knit dress for its comfortable fit and keeps one warm too. One of my favorite is a RED one A bit of color is always nice .  I added the scarf for extra warmth . A few accessories can add interest to any outfit . 

 🎃🎃🧛‍♀️🧛‍♀️👻👻 BOO 👻  Well the fun begins . All the little goblins will be out dressed in their fun costumes . Even adults are joining in the fun.  The celebrities really have gone BIG for the costume parties . Thinking about Heidi Klum and her outfits.  I do remember taking part in some events  Finding something to wear, usually it was something from my closet  such a geishe girl or a medieval maiden think of Robin Hood  But more fun was making costume for the kids pirates , astronaut  Dracula,  caveman . Creating these fun costumes was half the fun.  Simple to make too.   So have fun seeing all the spooky costumes.
