LE CHIC MODE

  DRESSY or CASUAL I think many of us are now about ready to change out of the lounge wear mode and get into some sort of normal clothing. As much as i like the comfort of lounge wear , sometimes I need a change.  I like to wear a casual style dress and a simple shirtdress  is ideal for anytime. Be it spring summer or fall. SHOP MY CLOSET Pinstripes or Stripes This is one style of dress I like . It looks fine to wear to work, casual enough and also stylish enough to dress up more.  You can wear it under a nice blazer or sweater.  wear a sweat top over or keep it simple. This dress I bought a few years ago, so its not really new but still practical and not out of style.  Simple shirt dress  styling with accessories Tie a scarf around your neck, hair or keep handy by tying it  on a handbag. PLANNING A TRIP? WHAT TO WEAR? It s been awhile since we had a trip anywhere, with lockdowns, travel restrictions and quarantines , it seems like travelling anywhere is not possible.  I use to take a few trips  to far off places, but after a long haul flight of  so so many hours, it does not appeal to me as much anymore. Running  through large airports for connecting flights, finding the terminals and the lineups - well you get the idea. Airports use to be fun but now i find them to overwhelming and more traveller pushing or running you over with the cases is  like being at an amusement park. I have more or less fallen in love with train travel, it takes longer but it is so much more soothing. Plus more comfortable and relaxing. Plus better for the environmen t, which is very important!  STAYING STYLISH & COMFORTABLE We have been hunkering down in our homes for a few weeks or more, of course this i s not the greatest time, especially now when it is warming up and the urge to be outside is great, but we all know how very important it is to keep safe and avoid contact. Well WE make the best of the situation or do things to keep ourselves busy I thought i share a few of  my latest shop my closet style. FASHION at Home - shop my closet version I find the simplest more minimal outfits the most comfortable and easier to wear , when being at home.
