PLANNING A TRIP? WHAT TO WEAR?

It s been awhile since we had a trip anywhere, with lockdowns, travel restrictions and quarantines , it seems like travelling anywhere is not possible. I use to take a few trips to far off places, but after
a long haul flight of so so many hours, it does not appeal to me as much anymore. Running through large airports for connecting flights, finding the terminals and the lineups - well you get the idea.

Airports use to be fun but now i find them to overwhelming and more traveller pushing or running you over with the cases is like being at an amusement park.

I have more or less fallen in love with train travel, it takes longer but it is so much more soothing.
Plus more comfortable and relaxing. Plus better for the environment, which is very important!

SHOP MY CLOSET LOOK

My ideal outfit to wear , especially if going via train are a pair of slacks , a top, tank top or t-shirt, flat shoes and a good size tote.

Linen slacks are the coolest to wear and now linen items are available in many styles.
A top to throw over the shoulders if chilly or wear it, plus simple tank top for when it gets to hot.
Flat shoes are also good idea to wear , when climbing stairs

TRAVELLING STYLE

This long sleeve sweat top is a favourite, with the shoulder details and the colours.

A pair of linen slacks with pockets , this pair has added stretch

great for sitting in.

A roomy tote to hold all things needed for a trip.... books , scarfs, water, glasses , phone, etc.

OVERALL LOOK. LOVE THE COLOUR COMBO. THE TOP I HAD FOR SEVERAL YEARS.
BUT KIND OF LEFT IT SITTING IN CLOSET. SAME WITH THE SLACKS.
THE ONLY NEW ITEM IS THE TOTE.

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. Keeping Warm - Fashion Style

POP of COLOR Yes it is something we all want need. Keeping warm in the cold winter months. One of favorite knit top has been my steady Look. The fact it has a large cowl neck collar that I pull up over my face when it’s windy outside. It is comfortable and feels cozy . The color is vibrant on those dull dreary days . A pop of color is nice to see during the winter season when mostly black seems to be the color of choice. The Accessories . I love to add a few accessories also. Bracelets add a little interest to the look . The three sterling silver bangles worn over sleeve looks good , as well as the multi twist bracelet. Ps The photo does not show the true color . It’s a very vibrant blue shade . Looks dull . After a few retakes no change. Camera issues.

DRESS. It up//fashion style

DRess It Up A simple grey knit top is something I had been looking for sometime. Grey is not usually my pick, but I thought time to try some other neutral shade. The top is tunic style and loose fitting . Definitely a comfort piece. I decided to add some different accessories to it. This shiny silver piece just a bit of interest to the plain top. Accessories are really a great way to give an outfit a different look. Love this multi strand necklace . It suits this knit top, not to delicate but fun and an interesting piece.
