B  Time to Fly   Sumer holidays are around the corner and deciding where to go or what to pack can e daunting experience.  So what to pack ? Well after reading how some airlines charge passenger to check the baggage. First I believe the budget airlines started , but now the big name ones have also started to charge it! American Airlines , southwest , Air Canada .  And the extra cost if is a jackpot for the airlines.  I have not travel with the budget lines but have used some of the others mentioned  and  I won’t be booking any trips with them!  Really what do they think? If the operate a service to transport you and your belongs  that should be included , NOT an extra expense.  Give you an idea of what they collect in these extra fees  then read this report via BBC.  Truthfully people need to tell these companies  NO .  Even a handbag is next to the list.   They are making BILLIONS from from these extra fees!...

HOME PROJECTS  Hi Everyone! By now many places have opened more things and we  have a sense of normalcy in our lives. Hope things are going well wherever you are. IDEAS for OUTSIDE The week flew by so, so fast, we or I have been buzy  working on a new project for outside. I mentioned it awhile back that our yard has a backyard  shower which is basic , nothing fancy but to open for my liking , also it lacks places to hang things . i.e. towels  etc.   So I was hoping to make a screened in area and place to install some hooks to hold things.  Like the idea of a slatted enclosure that allows air to circulate through it, also cedar is ideal as it does not rot. MORE FLOWERS I received some rose plants last month that were so lovely.b ut now they are totally finished which totally made me sad. THE DIFFERENT WORLD Here like many other places , we have had to make some big changes in our lifes.  I don't want to be writing about the  pandemic so much , as it is something  we all are aware of and know the things we have to do to keep ourselves safe from catching the virus. But still we have to get back to some kind of normalcy.  We have to make some changes to how we go about our lives  From work, to travel , to our social life. Getting AROUND How to be safe well taking the bus or subways.  Well that is something I have to wonder. I read it important to have proper air circulating ,FRESH AIR IS IMPORTANT whether at home, or indoors . The transport systems I am sure are making sure it is safe and properly disinfected.  Open windows to give a space fresh air is recommended , as it helps to disperse things in the air. THE BEST WAY TO MICRO YOUR FOOD Since the pandemic  , the fact we couldn't dine out or go to restaurants was not possible. Now we can with of course the proper requirements .  I suppose like most of us we have been cooking and baking a lot more the usual.  I will say, i am really tired of cooking. I wanted a break from it. So one option was the easy micro meals.  Some are pretty tasty and easy, plus it was to hot to cook last week. I couldn't resist ! Tomorrow is Halloween night, and for those of you who are getting ready with the spooky decorations , costumes and goodies  it is also the best time to catch a few spooky movies. I love a GOOD scary movie (to a point) and there are so many that have been made over the year. Some are old  like the Dracula ones, Frankenstein or Hitchcocks Psycho . Probably the most popular are Halloween series but there are many others. Lately we have been on a scary movie marathon , a few Johnny Depp,  the Gremlins, and others. We recently watched the Cannes winner,   Parasit  a South Korean film and I enjoyed it. A SHOPPING DILEMMA I can say my shopping habits have changed  a bit since moving here, and also probably the fact I don't see the need as much to shop every sale. Basically I got tired of running about looking  for the item on sale, and it not being available.  I of course like a sale like anyone. but the frustration can be to much,  and I realized later I managed without the item  Of course we need to shop for things if they  need replacing , shoes for one, or clothing  that doesn't fit or is well worn - then there is no option.   BACK TO BASICS But truth is I look to get something that works well with what i already have in my closet  and can be worn in several different ways.  Mixing colours and prints, solids and textures. Use to be I walk around in heels always, no flats for me. It just did not feel right for me.
