I, for one love heels and don't feel complete without wearing a nice shoe with an outfit.
Use to be I walk around in heels always, no flats for me. It just did not feel right for me.
Well , now it seems some peoples feet are made to wear heels and others not , according to recent report from the College of Podiatry . There is a PERFECT HEEL HEIGHT formula to get the right
shoe for your feet. (I recall being told by a doctor to wear Birkenstocks, those were the best shoes for the foot and back.)
Here is a simple way to check for the right heel for you -
Step 1. Take off your shoes, sit down and hold one leg straight out in front of you, relaxing your foot,’ . If your foot sits naturally at a right angle to your outstretched leg and does not dangle, then you have less mobility in the talus and will be more comfortable in flat shoes than in high heels. If the top of your foot falls forwards, in a straightish line following your leg, you are a natural heel wearer. according to a specialist podiatrist.
Step 2. To find your optimum heel height, get a friend or partner to help stretch the tape measure from your heel in a straight line parallel to the floor, then place a pencil at the ball of your foot at right angles to the tape.”
Step 3. Reading the tape measure where it hits the pencil will give you your ideal heel height.
IF you go by the results then it suggests a 4 to 5 inch heel is the maximum height, but IF you wear heels daily a 3 inch heel is the best.
Yessss, I am definitely a high heel girl!
Even now I like the kitten heels shoes, think they are cute with slacks or pair of jeans. So what ever you wear be comfortable and look great.
Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! Well as the title says…. Pocket s please! This week has been a very painful week. I recently injured my knee badly. Not able to move stand or walk. When finally bit better I finally managed to move . I needed something to wear that I could put my phone in , glasses medicine in. Any dress I thought I could use didn’t have pockets for anything. Why??? When I think back there usually were pocket inserts nicely sewn on inside of slacks or dresses. Now you rarely find that . I guess it’s a cost saving , less material needed and no extra time used sewing a pockrr er r in. Maybe it’s to give an outfit a more neat look, no bulging pockets. Meanwhile mens wear there are always pockets. Do you like outfit with pockets?
