I, for one love heels and don't feel complete without wearing a nice shoe with an outfit.
Use to be I walk around in heels always, no flats for me. It just did not feel right for me.
Well , now it seems some peoples feet are made to wear heels and others not , according to recent report from the College of Podiatry . There is a PERFECT HEEL HEIGHT formula to get the right
shoe for your feet. (I recall being told by a doctor to wear Birkenstocks, those were the best shoes for the foot and back.)
Here is a simple way to check for the right heel for you -
Step 1. Take off your shoes, sit down and hold one leg straight out in front of you, relaxing your foot,’ . If your foot sits naturally at a right angle to your outstretched leg and does not dangle, then you have less mobility in the talus and will be more comfortable in flat shoes than in high heels. If the top of your foot falls forwards, in a straightish line following your leg, you are a natural heel wearer. according to a specialist podiatrist.
Step 2. To find your optimum heel height, get a friend or partner to help stretch the tape measure from your heel in a straight line parallel to the floor, then place a pencil at the ball of your foot at right angles to the tape.”
Step 3. Reading the tape measure where it hits the pencil will give you your ideal heel height.
IF you go by the results then it suggests a 4 to 5 inch heel is the maximum height, but IF you wear heels daily a 3 inch heel is the best.
Yessss, I am definitely a high heel girl!
Even now I like the kitten heels shoes, think they are cute with slacks or pair of jeans. So what ever you wear be comfortable and look great.
Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. POP of COLOR Yes it is something we all want need. Keeping warm in the cold winter months. One of favorite knit top has been my steady Look. The fact it has a large cowl neck collar that I pull up over my face when it’s windy outside. It is comfortable and feels cozy . The color is vibrant on those dull dreary days . A pop of color is nice to see during the winter season when mostly black seems to be the color of choice. The Accessories . I love to add a few accessories also. Bracelets add a little interest to the look . The three sterling silver bangles worn over sleeve looks good , as well as the multi twist bracelet. Ps The photo does not show the true color . It’s a very vibrant blue shade . Looks dull . After a few retakes no change. Camera issues.
DRess It Up A simple grey knit top is something I had been looking for sometime. Grey is not usually my pick, but I thought time to try some other neutral shade. The top is tunic style and loose fitting . Definitely a comfort piece. I decided to add some different accessories to it. This shiny silver piece just a bit of interest to the plain top. Accessories are really a great way to give an outfit a different look. Love this multi strand necklace . It suits this knit top, not to delicate but fun and an interesting piece.
