LE CHIC MODE

 HAPPY MAY 1ST The day is celebrated here as a holiday and through most of Europe. It is a holiday to celebrate all the workers.  Usually rallies are held,picnics, music and just getting together.   But this year  was less of an event ,though few people did gather in the city centre. The MAYPOLE DANCE🌷🌺  another event held in some European countries is the MAY DAY  flag pole dance, a tall pole is erected atop is a large wreath made of branches with long colourful ribbons dangling from the pole , young kids dancing around it holding onto the ribbons as it slowly gets wrapped around the pole. A every  fun way to welcome the new season of summer.

ANOTHER YEAR ENDS WITH SPARKLE, LIGHTS , BUBBLY AND FIREWORKS. SO TO ALL  THE  VERY , VERY HAPPIEST OF NEW YEARS EVE. MAY WE ALL  CELEBRATE THE END OF 2017 WITH JOY AND LOVE IN OUR HEARTS AHD THE HAPPINESS OF A NEW YEAR TOGETHER WITH FRIENDS & FAMILY. HIGHLIGHTS from NYE love to dance... head to the street with the gorgeous chandeliers and dance the night away. (to see check out Holiday Lights post) Around the corner is the magnificent Stephansdom  and the huge lite tree, along with  the cutest huts selling hot punches and other goodies. Just wander the area and head over to the Operahaus to see a  opera performance on the huge screen.   Around each corner is a surprise of  brillant lights from red lantern to curtains of lights, House of music is another interesting stop for music lovers.  Finally make your way to the Rathaus to go skating around the park or just listen to more music, wai...

OHHHH NO,, ONLY 10 DAYS LEFT   Well I sit and wonder how come it seems the holiday season comes so quickly and then it is suddenly over. If you were to ask my friends  or family who is wild for the holidays , the answer would be ME. Okay I know some might think or have a image of those over the top movies with lights and santa filled rooms.( the extreme end) or the holiday sweaters with bells and all the those colours.  Let me say , I am not that extreme but its more the feeling I get at this time of year. From baking goodies, listening to the music, lighting the trees and candles, setting up for company- and some special movies to watch.  Of course I love the decorating part too! But mostly its the time  spent those most dear or if we can treat someone else . The  holidays are for relaxing and just unwinding. OH DEAR SANTA, THIS LOOKS NICE. ... yes it is only a few weeks to Christmas and there are probably a million things we have to do still, like getting gifts for are special ones . I have only started to get going on that,  but  then  seeing somethings online, it made me think  that is something  I would love to wear for the holidays or later in the season. WELL IF YOU WANT SUN, SAND AND THE FEELING OF BEING ON A HOLIDAY .  THERE  ARE FEW PLACES TO GO AND HAVE THAT FEELING. SOMEWHERE TO SET YOUR TOES IN THE SAND AND SIP A COOL DRINK. MARGARITAS OR A COLD BEER. IDEAL FOR THE HOT SUMMER WEEKEND OR EVEN FOR A MINI BREAK. WHATS NOT TO LOVE???? MY KIND OF STYLE .  CLASSIC WHITE LOOK FOR A COOL SUMMER FEELING -  simple clean look.

A FUR FIXATION  IN THREE DIFFERENT WAYS. I like fur but am not one to who feels right wearing the REAL thing.   Now the choices in faux furs is so much better and MUCH more real looking.   So for me , I think  it is worth to get a nice coat that can be worn for many occasions.  Here are a few faux furs that I think are nice to have in ones closet.   What do you think REAL or FAUX???   A Party  classic black.          A NICE CASUAL LOOK FOR A COOL DAY   , FUR VESTS ARE ALWAYS IN FASHION.
