  Time for some color  Finally the weather is warmer and can wear lighter clothes. I especially like to start the summer/spring with some color .  One of my favorites is a colorful knit on I bought years ago , a Liz Clairborn design.  It’s a piece that just say spring is here. After a long  , cold winter of wearing mostly dark or muted shades it’s nice to bring out something bright a cheery. 

Styling   Keeping Warm A few Christmas back I was looking to add a few new knit tops to my wardrobe.  I kept looking but nothing grabbed my attention.  My collection is a mix of colors in different shades from blues, red, plum and of course black.  Something I did not have were more neutral tones. So I found one nice grey tunic  that is comfortable and wear  can wear over slacks, paired with a nice heel or boots . 

 READY FOR SPRING? Its only February but it has warmed up extremely, I can forget about wearing the winter coat . Now it is time to get out the lighter coats or sweater coats. I love a nice sweater coat for days like we are having.  MORE KNITWEAR always stylish looks,to try from bows , puffarms,  stripes , pastels or ruffles there is a knit for any look. These tops are so stylish and something that will be in style for many years. Simple bows worn casual or dressed up. This knit with the bow detail, love it! SWEATER WEATHER TIME A definite more chill in the air this morning , after some days of sunny warm temperatures, but this is fall and we can all start to wear are knits. I have the usual knits tops with the cozy necks and colours for winter , but it always nice to have something different .   Here are some knits that I would definitely wear. The OVERSIZE look is big this season and here are some that are made for the season. MY KIND OF STYLE Yes, Valentines Day is just around the corner for those that celebrate or not.  I am a BIG romantic and of course it is always nice to get flowers and make a special day of it. Sometimes we dress up  or if going casual, then a more comfortable look is an option Here is one look I would wear for a casual night out. A simple cable knit pullover ( on sale), pair of leather slacks or jeans/check print slack, a modern look necklace, large mens style watch and a animal print handbag.   The faux fur wrap I wear over my  l eather biker jacket for extra warmth. WINTER BLUES , BEAT IT WITH COLOUR! Some of us maybe are starting to feel the winter blues, long dark days , cold winds and snow can be a drudgery. So what to do about it? One thing I find is colour, be it a scarf, top or handbag. It not only uplifts the spirit but also adds some wow to a winter outfit - especially if you have a all black or darker outfits in the winter season. So maybe a nice stripe top under the winter coat is something to try? What do you say. Here are a few  I think would be great for the winter blues. So it is versatile , as you can wear in the spring or fall seasons.                                                     .

A change in the weather colder and the weekend festivities , wore me out.  So to  make it easier to decide what to wear   comfort  comfort comfort, knit dress, fur vest, leggings and suede leather boots.  Topped  with a nice wool jacket with clips is one of my favorites for the extra detail. The vest is  great too, as  it looks like the real thing but not. This should keep me warm for the first  Monday of 2017. So how was the weekend for you, hope you all survived the  festivities. 

Well finally it is FRIDAY. - a drab ,cold, rainy day here. For such a day I thought I pick something with color.  A comfortable red knit dress , with a navy blazer or my new favorite red blanket scarf. T his thing was really big - not what I expected when I ordered it, but now its perfect to wear  over the dress , casual or even over a coat.  I also love the smaller purse I found  (on sale) , a bit different shape  . ROUND:  So now I am ready to paint the town RED.  A fashion board with the outfit (better visually) and other shoes I found. a nice pump (chanel look)  Have a GREAT weekend fashion lovers!!  MY KIND OF STYLE LIKE THE DETAIL ON SLEEVES

Yes  , it is middle of November already and the chilly winter weather is here. So I am sure like most you are looking for your warm woolen sweaters . There is something cozy about being wrapped in a warm sweater and scarfs wrapped around the neck.  I do love sweaters with a loose cowl neck as I can pull it up over the face when  the winds start to blow. Of course when looking for sweaters there are the usual winter blacks and  greys. but under a nice coat it is nice to see a pop of color.  One color that is back is burgundy shade, plum or maroon.  Its a nice deep rich color  and looks nice on most people.  Well   i thought  i share some of my favorites i wear for the winter… and even the occassional white too .
