SHOES , WHAT WE ALL LOVE I have to say , I love shoes from heels to sandals, dressy or casual. Slipping on a good comfortable shoe is the last item we wear.  The shoes we wear can be made for work, for walking or running, for dancing or just as a added accessory. They can make us feel sporty, or glamorous. There are some shoes that are so well known and expensive. Shoes made to wear only for a special occasion. One such famous shoe are those made by Christian Louboutin , the French shoe designer. Those famous red soles that women love to wear   It will be a view of his life , his ideas, his amazing designs and his talent. What an amazing story  and life.  Well if you love to see more of these shoes , you can see a very special exhibition being held in Paris. There are shoes that are special like the one silver pair. MORE THEN FASHION From Milan , London or NY, fashion weeks are the highlight of the season.  This year it was a bit different in Paris , it showed fashion but one  designer with a very unusual design. Marine Serre designs incorporated facemasks as part of an outfit.  Of course it was designer look, matching pieces.   Some looked like winter balaclavas, surgical masks, or drapes tied over the head.   Maybe it is practical now at this time. We have all read I am sure in the magazines and blogs how much the French are admired for their chicness and style.  I have often wondered what is it about the French style or fashions that the world is so enamoured by it. After reading a interesting article about the rise of the French fashion , it is easy to understand why. We have to start to look back hundreds of years to the time of King Louis or Marie Antoinette (who was a Austrian) before the French Revolution.  This was the era when beautiful craftsmenship, stunning and rich materials and intricate design was highly important in the royal courts of Europe. France or Versailles became the centre of great fashion at that time. But when the French revolution happened , the flamboyant lifestyle of the rich was no longer part of life .
