INSPIRATION FOR THE HOLIDAYS The Christmas season is fast approaching and there is always much to do. MAGICAL HOLIDAY LIGHTS 🎆🎄🎄🎄🎆 A stroll to the Christmas market at the magnificent City hall is always top on the list. Here you can find most anything,  Artisans and yummy treats. The classic heart shaped cookies, the delicious  Weihnacht punch and much, much more.....  Later you can go skating under all the decorated  trees. A MAGICAL EVENING! Hope you enjoy seeing the lights.

HOW ABOUT A MOVIE? I admit I love movies and really enjoy watching them  when its Christmas time. Its the absolute best part (after dinner or present openings) As custom in some parts of Europe Christmas dinner and gift opening is done on the 24th , unlike America .  So after the festivities are over its time to stretch out and watch some movies.   Or to get in to the mood watch some before. Here are some movies that we have always watched  and I adore them all. First off, THE Grinch , the new one is out in theatres  but I still like to see the original one from the 60s   So who else likes the Grinch  hands up? Another one that makes me smile is Charlie Browns Christmas ,  Lucy and Charlie, Linus and the gang are so adorable and make Christmas a very special time. POLAR E XPRESS  a delight to watch. THE CHRISTMAS TREE.. THE MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE FOR THE HOLIDAYS. . A BEAUTIFUL FRESH CUT TREE IS REALLY SPECIAL, FIRST FOR THE SMELL - LIKE HAVING THE OUTDOORS IN  YOUR HOME. I CAN RECALL AS KID GOING OUT TO FIND THE SPECIAL TREE AND SETTING UP  WITH LIGHTS AND ICICLES WAS SO EXCITING. BUT MOM WAS NOT SO EXCITED AFTER THE NEEDLES CAME OFF AND LEFT A MESS OR THE CAT WOULD JUMP ON IT TO GRAB THE HANGING DECORATIONS .  YES SOME FUNNY MEMORIES. SO FINDING A TREE AND KEEPING IT FRESH AND BEAUTIFUL THROUGHOUT THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS THE CHALLENGE. BIG  OR SMALL  SUCH A WONDERFUL THING TO ENJOY OVER THE HOLIDAYS!! SOME TIPS TO BUY A NATURAL TREE.  FIRST PICKING  A FRESH TREE THE NEEDLES DO NOT BREAK IF BENT. UNDER THE BARK  IT SHOULD BE WHITE GREEN, NOT BROWNISH STORING THE TREE IS MOST IMPORTANT , KEEP IT COOL AND MOIST. STORE OUTSIDE TILL TIME TO SET UP. KEEP THE NETTING ON IT- THIS HELPS IT KEEP MO...
