HOW ABOUT A MOVIE?
I admit I love movies and really enjoy watching them when its Christmas time. Its the absolute best
part (after dinner or present openings) As custom in some parts of Europe Christmas dinner and gift opening is done on the 24th , unlike America . So after the festivities are over its time to stretch out and watch some movies. Or to get in to the mood watch some before.
Here are some movies that we have always watched and I adore them all.
There are several others that are really good from a musical White Christmas to the famous Miracle on 34th street . .
What are some of your favourites ? I could always add a new film to my list.

- First off, THE Grinch ,the new one is out in theatres but I still like to see the original one from the 60s So who else likes the Grinch hands up?
- Another one that makes me smile is Charlie Browns Christmas, Lucy and Charlie, Linus and the gang are so adorable and make Christmas a very special time.
- POLAR EXPRESS a delight to watch.
- PENGUINS adorable movie even for the big kids.
- A good laugh is what we all need, after the hectic rush to get things ready. So the Home Alone film is truly a hilarious film. I am sure you have all seen it, right?
- Another not so heard of film that i can say will make you smile and giggle is one with Ralphie and his family, A typical family life and the all the funny things that happen at that time of year. Truly hilarious. A CHRISTMAS STORY is made for this time of year
- What is Christmas without snow! A very touching movie with a boy and his grandpa sharing his story of how Christmas was when he was a young boy. Its based on the poem of Dylan Thomas - A CHILDS CHRISTMAS IN WALES.
- The classics and nothing is more classic then Charles Dickens, A CHRISTMAS CAROL:
- There are several versions two of my favourites are the ones with Alastair Simms or George C Scott. Both are worth watching.
- FRENCH films and any with Catherine Deneuve are worth watching. A CHRISTMAS TALE, (Un conte de Noel) subtitles . A family gathering at Christmas with a twist. love Catherine always and the french humor!
There are several others that are really good from a musical White Christmas to the famous Miracle on 34th street . .
