I love the look of white. A favorite combination is navy with white,  so I found a simple white pair slacks and tops to get some different looks. FACE LIFT, LIP FILLING  OR BUM WORK? I wonder how many women want to have plastic surgery? I have often thought I might get a nose job. ( but I have other things I would rather spend my money on). From Kylie Jenner with her pout (lip work) becoming the youngest billionaire and many more Hollywood stars that have gone to have somethings done to their faces or bodies.  Surprisingly the country with the most plastic surgeries it seems are in the South American countries - Brazil, Venezuela , Argentina. Women who want to enter beauty contests will go to any expense to get plastic surgery.  Lately  it has been the backside that is getting enhanced,  to get a bigger bottom the patient  is injected with a acrylic-glass filler. Sounds interesting,  a glass bottom.  A young mom who went for such a procedure died. THE SHOE WITH STORAGE TOO - WHAT NEXT? I admit I love shoes of most kinds from heels to sandals, dress boots to hikers-  but one interesting shoe or slide  from a major sportswear shoe company well lets just say,  I have to wonder who is designing or going to buy that? THE NIKE BENASSI A simple slide-on or flipper that not only you wear, but it also has a place so you can stick items inside your shoe. This is not a 007 or Maxwell Smart phone in the shoe thing- though its a good idea. The latest from NIKE is  a flipper with a small compartment zipper that lets you store somethings.  Maybe a stick of gum  or credit card?  Would have to be something small for sure.  Now I wonder who is going to wear or buy a shoe that if you carry anything in it and take it off a shoe might get lost.  The first I have seen of this is on the UK site. where it shows someone placing money, passport  and other items in them.  And of course the person seems to love them, as it is ha

ALL TIED UP...... The latest thing that seems to everywhere on blogs or instagram are macrame things from wall art hangings , plant hangers and even things to carry your things in. I can remember my mom making a few of those macrame for hanging plants in, though I didn't really think it looked good with the decor, i.e. modern rustic with classic french   .. But the look is back.  I do like how they look outside, to hang candle holders  or useful as a bag  for carrying groceries  or for your beach things.  Or  a hanging sling chair, but that is a bigger DIY project. DAYDREAMING FRIDAYS Well the month of June went by so quickly, July came faster then expected. Seems like each year zooms by faster and faster...( hmm , is that because getting older) . Oh well there are so many things to look forward to in the summer.  Of course the summer holidays, travel plans are probably the biggest things one thinks about-  but sometimes it is the small things that are the memorable things. A few summertime things that I think of when the summer heat arrives like......... Great sandy beaches and soaking up the warm sunshine   riding a  PINK VESPA somewhere in ITALY of course Spending time out on the water   and more lounging  is not a bad idea. Eating loads of watermelon  and finally sitting around the CAMPFIRE. SO WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENTS OR HOLIDAY PLANS?

JULY  & SUMMER HOLIDAYS Well the summer holidays are in full swing, the kids are out of school and the summer fun begins. Whether it is going to the local pool or  swimming at the lake, it is always nice to take a break from the city.  That was always the most fun as a kid, packing up the car for trip to the seaside or lakes. And of course , all the  summer movies were something else to look forward too. I have to say the month of July there are  so many interesting events - number 1 are all the great outdoor movies held in the parks, at the city hall and many other places. I have always loved a good movie.  So the latest movies are out and hope to see a few, before going on holidays. One that looks funny is all about swimming ,  how appropriate. A British comedy called   Swimming with Men .  A group  of men that are synchronized swimmers.  Cannot help  but imagine the swimming outfits......... Another one- Based on a true story. the title. It is perhaps the one time you really dress up for a special occasion. From a casual affair, like a beach wedding or a classic church  wedding. seeing what the guests wear is always interesting and exciting.
