HI  LOVELIES , THE WEEK HAS BEEN SO BUZY WITH SO SO MANY THINGS. STARTING WITH THE BALL SEASON  AND THE FASHION WEEK in Berlin THE FASHIONS  ON THE RUNWAY  FEATURED :  LACE, GLITTER, SHEER SEE THROUGH   AND EVEN MICKY MOUSE. FULL SKIRTS AND SOCKS WORN WITH IN SHOES  .( REMINDS ME OF  THE STYLES FROM THE 50s) -  BUT STILL LOOKS ELEGANT. YES,  MM IS PART OF THE FASHION RUNWAY, CREATED BY AN AUSTRIAN  DESIGNER.  JUST SOME OF THE FASHIONS SHOWN . I AM LOVING THE LOOKS AND THE BEAUTIFUL COLORS. SO WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITES?

A  morning brunch took us  to a lovely leafy street with many colorful buildings  and shops. driving past the EASTside gallery which is a section of the Berlin Wall . The place was packed  ,  set up in what looked like an old house. Inside it was lined with  display of goodies to try for brunch. So many things to delight the tastebuds it was hard to decide what to have. A buffet set up with so so many choices  really was overwhelming .  A true feast for the eyes and the tummy. Though I found it a bit overpriced ( i am not a big morning eater), so was really not worth it for myself, but for anyone who can pack food away  you definitely would love it! There  are places to sit outside and of course on a sunny Sunday, good luck getting a spot. So we sat inside in one smaller room with a few tables, felt like you were in someones home. Well no holiday is complete without taking in the restaurants, from the outdoor beer gardens to italiano. there is so much to try. One of my favorites was the outdoor restaurant and biergarten near the river Spree. Set in a leafy park with outdoor tables and those great covered sofas to sit under . It was so nice to relax and enjoy some delicious dinners and lunches. There is even a place to play mini golf  and a small play area for kids. Really ideal!! Not to mention the food was delicious and priced well.  Great selection on the menu! There is a no shortage of places to eat  and  every possible culinary experience to let your tastebuds experience..

Most people think of boating along the Venice canals or in Amsterdam or seeing places like Paris or Rome as their number one holiday destination. For sure those places are the most visited cities in Europe. But to my surprise Berlin  is getting to be more a trendy place with work , fashions and film festivals. If you plan a trip there, then a day trip on one of the river cruise boats is definitely a good way to see the the city from a different view. And it is so relaxing. Spending a leisurely 2 -3 hours on a boat enjoying the sunshine and having a nice lunch on the top deck.  Now that is a holiday! Here are a few views of Berlin  along the river Spree.
