SUMMER + SUN= PARKS Sundays are the day to rest, enjoy the summer sun and just wander. With the super hot summer it is always nice to go to the park and sit under the trees, enjoy watching people, have some ice cream or a cold drink.  The summer weather is no where in end , its been in the 30s for weeks , if not months. So time to take a wander to a park and enjoy the sights. The one park in the city that has the tower is a starting point. One can go to the top and get a birds-eye view of the city and the danube, then later go to the restaurant and enjoy a melange with one of the many delicious tortes. A very nice way to spend a sunday afternoon , PANORAMA VIEWS of the CITY GARDEN AND GAMES After having a torte, time to take a stroll around the park and see all the lovely flower displays. The city has so many great flower gardens to see and enjoy.  This park held a international garden event years ago , today we can see parts of it.   The

END OF SUMMER BLUES Its the middle of August and this year I am feeling totally blue about the fact summer is coming  quickly to an end. Why? I  normally have no issues with the change of seasons, perhaps it because the fall fashions are being sold or the fact that I missed out on summer sales.   SHOPPING FRUSTRATION Frustation is the word! I had my eye on some pieces , tops, white slacks and other items , picked my size , added to shopping cart, continued looking and finally checkout and boom, some items were not  available or the size no longer available,  words I don't want to hear! Okay so was it a computer thing or just some way to make one shop for other things not on sale?? So basically, didn't get any of the sale items.  I am not getting the fall mood at all, first the weather is not cool enough to start to wear anything fall like. Second the sun shines and temperatures are still hot, so summer outfits are still needed. So needless to say, I am still h

T HE HEAT IS ON AND ON, AND ON.... IF YOU HAVE READ OR HEARD THE NEWS MANY PLACES ARE HAVING RECORD TEMPERATURES, THROUGHOUT MOST OF EUROPE THE HEAT IS RISING  SUMMER AFTER SUMMER. EACH TIME IT SEEMS WORSE.  I AM DEFINITELY NOT A LOVER OF HOT WEATHER, SO ITS NOT ENJOYABLE TO DO MUCH, WHETHER, ITS OUT FOR DINNER OR WORK.  I DREAD FINDING SOMETHING TO WEAR THAT IS NICE BUT STILL LLOKS NICE AND MOST IMPORTANT COOLER TO WEAR. SO TODAY ITS   KEEP COOL STYLE DRESSES IN MY BOOK RULES , REASON IT ALLOWS SOME COOL AIR TO COOL ONE DOWN,   THE LOOSER THE FIT THE BETTER  AND PREFERABLY IN COTTONS OR A LINEN.
