Tote time  Are you a tote fan? The one thing I do like when it comes to handbags is a good size tote.  The many uses, especially for everyday use is the size. I like to have one that can carry my daily things , phone , wallets , glasses , book , scarf or even extra shoes .   Especially for traveling they are a must- have.  Here are a few totes that fit the  bill.      

  WHO LOVES PURSES??  HANDS UP I for one love  purses,  most are simple inexpensive bags.  A mix of leather or fabrics. Everyday bags to evening bags.  A few are my favourites ,  but it is always nice to have a change. I can recall my mom was a purse fein .. she had a Chanel bag that my sis received, I was to young to appreciate the value of a Chanel then (plus I thought they looked for the older person) . Now they are worth more.  ;My choice of bag back then would be a Gucci.   So now designer handbags are the thing to have. There have been so many iconic bags, the Hermes Birkin or Kelly bag. SIMPLE WAYS TO CHANGE YOUR OUTFITS Do you have a certain outfit you wear daily or more often?  I admit I sometimes don't always feel like changing my outfits everyday. Number 1, it usually is because a outfit is more comfortable and easier to wear then others. i.e. example being my go to outfit in a hurry.  The simple dress with blazer standby.  But one thing I always do if  I am wearing it so often is change the accessories, jewelry  is the one way I like to do that, then the shoes or purse. CHANGING ACCESSORIES..... shoes, purses, jewelry the simplest way to change any outfit is with accessories, here are a few ideas the can make an outfit look completely different. THE MINI  THING A few new things for the fall that are appearing in fashion is the MINI, not the skirt but those small  little purses.   It seems to be quite popular in some parts of Europe. I do have a few purses that I would say are mini (kind of),  but not something I use often, as they are simply  to small to hold much. But for a special outing or day out where you don't want to carry a lot, than it does look nice with a smart suit or dress.  Its not a bad idea to have a least one smaller bag handy. Whether for parties or special occasions. Here are a few that caught my eye.......... NEUTRAL OR PRINTS PEARLS for parties pearls are always elegant looking ,  wear it the the little black dress or tuxedo suit..... or a lovely summery outfit. PICK A COLOR.... ANY COLOR would look great styled with a nice pant suit or dress. or even with the white shirt and jeans. ...

TOUGH DECISION- be bolder As the summer season is unwinding and fall is just around the corner, styles are changing.  From shoes to jewelry there are some new looks to try for fall.  One of the changes is in jewelry.  The small delicate pieces that have been so popular are being replaced by more chunky pieces. If you are like me, I do like the  delicate items also,  worn with the summery dresses or tops but having to wear  several at a time - well it can be a lot to put on.  So one chunkier piece is all one needs to  make a change.   I happen to like both , but a change sometimes is nice. OHHH SUNNY DAYS May is turning out not to be so sunny or warm as I expected. Actually the reverse chilly, rainy and cloudy, but I am hopeful the sun will appear soon. And when it does its nice to be ready with the sunglasses and sunhat. Truth is I have always loved hats, perhaps because my mom worn them and had them custom made. Hats were big  and are making a return. I am glad to see the selection of sun hats is huge. Not only that, but hats were also seen at the Chanel runway  So my love of hats is still alive and I cannot wait to try out some different looks.  Here are a few fashion inspirations  that I absolutely LOVE.  WEEKENDS ARE FOR SHOPPING (dreaming) Yes i love to check out the online shops  , especially the vintage resale shops There are many gorgeous things to find ..... ahhh yes how wonderful it is! GAGA FOR GUCCI it is always fun to check out the resale sites to see what is available.  It has become a bit of ritual on weekend mornings. , do you look at those things also? Well Gucci is so popular for many influencers on instagram i was curious to see what i would find - so here are a few pieces. Starting small with this stylish key ring or purse clip. MY KIND OF STYLE Yes, Valentines Day is just around the corner for those that celebrate or not.  I am a BIG romantic and of course it is always nice to get flowers and make a special day of it. Sometimes we dress up  or if going casual, then a more comfortable look is an option Here is one look I would wear for a casual night out. A simple cable knit pullover ( on sale), pair of leather slacks or jeans/check print slack, a modern look necklace, large mens style watch and a animal print handbag.   The faux fur wrap I wear over my  l eather biker jacket for extra warmth. EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK  YOU WILL SEE THEM. ON PURSES, ON BELTS, ON SHIRTS... THE WORLD HAS GONE LOGO CRAZY. I MIGHT LOVE THE PURSES OF SOME DESIGNERS  OF COURSE,  AND ITS THE QUALITY OF THE ITEM THAT IS MORE IMPORTANT .- WELL MADE AND LONG-LASTING. FOR SOME THE IDEA OF SPENDING THOUSANDS ON A DESIGNER ITEM IS NOT POSSIBLE.  I WOULD LOVE A CLOSET FILLED WITH DESIGNER ITEMS,  THEN WHAT GIRL WOULDNT, RIGHT? BUT INSTEAD I FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE WITH SOMETHING  I WONT WORRY ABOUT SPILLING A DRINK ON, OR PEN MARKS . I HAVE HAD THAT HAPPEN, RUINED THE PURSE .  PERHAPS A SCARF, BELT OR SUNNIES ARE THE ITEM TO GET- PLUS THEY TAKE UP LESS SPACE.  AND WONT KILL YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. BUT REALLY  CONFIDENCE ONE HAS IN ONESELF IS  MORE IMPORTANT,  YOU CAN WEAR A UNKNOWN ITEM OR DESIGNER-  CONFIDENCE IS KEY.  CLOTHES  ARE ONLY PART OF IT.   OF COURSE WHEN WE FEEL AND LOOK GOOD THEN IT SHOWS , WITH OUR...
