Styling   Keeping Warm A few Christmas back I was looking to add a few new knit tops to my wardrobe.  I kept looking but nothing grabbed my attention.  My collection is a mix of colors in different shades from blues, red, plum and of course black.  Something I did not have were more neutral tones. So I found one nice grey tunic  that is comfortable and wear  can wear over slacks, paired with a nice heel or boots . 

  Going  Casual  This is one of my favorites to wear if  traveling , goiing to outdoor events or errands .  It’s Comfortable Casual  The skirt has some stretch and pockets which are ideal to keep keys ,tissues or lipstick. The  sweater has a hood if it gets chilly .  Sandals just add a bit of fun to the look , but definitely not  great for walks.  Then I wear a comfortable slip on shoe in leather in a crème shade. Maybe a slip on runner is an option too.  I say, Comfort is key. 

WHAT TO WEAR when heading back to work. Yes for some it will probably be a nice treat to return to the work place and get dressed up more. After months of being in lockdown its going to a totally different thing, seeing people and co workers. Here are a few of picks for a change of outfits for now and later. Leather is big and the skirt is great to wear later in the season , wear with little top or knit later. The print skirt , love the design print. great with a white blouse, top or t shirt. heels or flats. Pleats give a bit of chic to a look. again a nice blouse, top, and a smart belt added would be tres chic. SKIRTS . Ideal for work or anytime . BEIGE the TREND of the SEASON Beige is big this season. You can see so many  bloggers wearing it. I find beige is always a great color on anyone , plus you can add  other prints to the look. This suit I have had for years, its linen with stretch - one reason I bought it and it doesn't wrinkle so badly. Linens and cottons are ideal   to wear in the summer heat, but of course it tends to wrinkle more. A blazer with slacks and is perfect to wear in summer. MY KIND OF STYLE Yes, Valentines Day is just around the corner for those that celebrate or not.  I am a BIG romantic and of course it is always nice to get flowers and make a special day of it. Sometimes we dress up  or if going casual, then a more comfortable look is an option Here is one look I would wear for a casual night out. A simple cable knit pullover ( on sale), pair of leather slacks or jeans/check print slack, a modern look necklace, large mens style watch and a animal print handbag.   The faux fur wrap I wear over my  l eather biker jacket for extra warmth. STYLISH , FUN, CHIC OR COMFORTABLE⛅🌂 Its not always easy to decide what to wear somedays- especially Mondays. We can look in our closet and think, 'What am I going to wear today? ' Sometimes it is a big dilemma of course it also depends on other things-  where you work, the weather and your comfort zone.   Naturally if you work in the business world your style will be perhaps more conservative, the suit thing. Or if you are working in place where uniforms are standard then no problem (i.e. nurses, airlines) But what about other work situations,  Sometimes i wish I had a more outdoor job as i love to be outside breathing fresh air and not stuck in a building,  but that was not possible. Luckily my job did have months when travel was needed, so was the one time could be more casual dressed. If you work in some creative area i.e. fashion  then it must be more exciting , as they can bring out their creative side, or not?  Being more flamboyant. ...

5 STYLES FOR SEPTEMBER to TRY Not sure how everyone else fills about the month of September but it is in some ways nice. T he leaves changing and the temperatures are cooler. Summer was extremely HOT  and  I for one don't care for temperature over 30C.  So September is a BIG relief. Now we are all getting back to the work or in the school ,college, university mode. (I am a part time student but still  I feel its nice to wear outfits that are more casually comfortable. ) So what does one wear for back to school styles. Denim or jeans, t-shirts .. okay. but its nice to maybe try something different and have another look that will work later for the work world. THE TWEED OR CHECK . work or school? this top is great for fall wear it with slack or  black skirt.   GREAT 2 PiECE  . tweed is always great in the fall and this one i love. top is versatile and the skirt .. what can i say, love love love it. ...

OVER & OVER Fashion really is a like a revolving door.  If you look at fashion books or magazines you see styles that were worn in the 60s 70s  - 90s are back.   Full skirts or the off shoulder trend,  worn by  Bardot in the 50s, the sunhat  from the 60s & 70s.  Polka dots seem to be around forever and really cute.  Red is also big for now - red leather boots.   The fall fashions seem to be big on  blazers or jackets. I love blazers with slacks or worn with jeans for a casual look.  Something about it looks  polished and bit more stylish.  Love the Balmain  blazer with its smart gold buttons ., a definite style that will last you years. Blazers are really a worthwhile investment, be it for work or the casual wear. The details , cut and  lengths are things to look for .  GETTING THAT FALL FEELING Here are my favourites for fall.
