ALL THE MAJOR DESIGNER LABELS  ARE TO BE FOUND , BUT WHAT A SURPRISE TO SEE ONE VERY STUNNING CHILDRENS FASHION STORE .   BAMBINI FASHION IS A 'EYEMAZING' STORE . THE INTERIORS WERE WHAT I FOUND  ABSOLUTE BREATHTAKING . TO IMAGINE SUCH A PLACE WITH DESIGNER FASHIONS FOR KIDS.    I WISH I WAS A KID AGAIN. IMAGES;pinterest

SWEATER WEATHER STILL. WELL THIS SWEATER IS ABIT OF STATEMENT WITH ALL THE  +++ SIGNS.  IT WAS A IMPULSE BUY AND WELL NOW  I WONDER…...WHAT WAS I THINKING?  WHY DID I BUY IT??  YES, ONE OF THOSE SHOPPING MOMENTS. BUT AFTER SOME THOUGHT,  WHY NOW WEAR IT WITH THE LATEST STYLE IN LEATHER LOOK SLACKS and A PAIR OF RUNNERS  FOR COMFORT . FOUND THESE EDGY SLACKS AND THEY ARE PERFECT .  LOVE THE DETAIL ZIPPERS .  SO NOW IT WON'T BE JUST SITTING IN THE CLOSET.   A NICE BIKER LOOK  ….  NOW I AM SET TO GO. A BIT OF EDGE. 

YES TODAY WE SET OUR CLOCKS AHEAD 1 HOUR. ITS OFFICIALLY SPRING. TIME TO PUT AWAY THE WINTER WEAR, BOOTS, HEAVY COATS, SCARFS AND START ANEW.  ITS NOT EXACTLY WARM ENOUGH TO GO OUT WITHOUT SOME COAT AND SCARF, THE WIND HAS A BITE TO IT.- BUT SOON! HAPPY  HAPPINESS DAY  to all. Well 20th of March is suppose to be Happiness DAY and the latest report by the UN puts the Nordic countries at the top again. Wonder why, is it HYGGE??  I suspect so, that and perhaps a good system of education, health care, good wages and more. Of course taxes are high , but these countries over much in  return  for the taxes paid. The other places that  scored high  also , were Canada, New Zealand and Australia.  Austria is down 1 to 13th , just above USA.  That surprises me . and Germany is 16th. I would have thought it be higher .  I suppose it has more to do with politics and the happenings of the last  year. But it could be worse,,  so  BE HAPPY.  

A surprise last week  was a french fashion presentations . It was presented by the French embassy and showcased NEW designers. It began with a presentation at the embassy and more throughout the week at various fashion shops  in the city. There was a champagne night  and a show of designers new designs. A mini french show.  and some  interesting fashions to see and shop. Definitely a nice way to start  the spring season. MARCH 8 the day woman around the world made their voices be heard. So what was your day like, mine was more focused on women from the past that made changes  or were inspirations to other women or girls. There are several .  Who were those that inspired you or you admired? For me some that inspired me  were the french women   actress Catherine Deneuve, the classic beauty, stylish , sophisticated.  Katherine Hepburn,  the feisty woman who wore slacks and looked chic.  Coco Chanel or Marlene Dietrich  each had a big influence in fashion or films.  Jolie or Amal the new beauties of today. Politically  there are, Thatcher, Gandi, or Bacchelet, Merkel , woman who have made differences  in the world politics , somewhere to make BIG changes. World figures like Mother Theresa  the soulful loving woman , who cared for the needy. Spent her life to help others .  The brave young  girl Malala,  who brought much hope to younger girls in a terrible situation. She truly is a wonder and a

SPRING IS HERE AND NOW WE CAN GET INTO THOSE WONDERFUL SHOES, SANDALS. SO OF COURSE IT IS NICE TO FIND A NEW PAIR, HERE ARE FEW STYLES THAT ARE JUST RIGHT. SHOE HEAVEN!!!!   FUN, COLORFUL, PRACTICAL  OR STYLISH  . STRIPES, POMPOMS , BOWS DETAILS  THESE SHOES ARE CALLING. images via zara

PEARLS  …. the latest in fashion , but not only as piece of jewelry  but as embellishment on jeans, shoes  , sweaters. What surprise, I  had a plain black pullover that needed something,  so i decided to sew pearls on it. Voila  a new look and  now the sweater is one of my favorites to wear.   Now what else can i apply pearls to???   a plain t shirt, or buttons on a blouse. Here are few   looks.  with pearl embellishments. 

Somethings you can't change and somethings you can..the color of your hair, your appearance, or your shape - but I think one thing for me that has not changed is my taste in clothes. i was never a blue jeans and tshirt type,  but i do like how some girls can look gorgeous  in them.  ( basically i didn't care for the stiffness of denim jeans and zippers. but  never say never……) I thought  I would  share my favorite things and styling thoughts.  Fragrances  (+great Lipstick) is top on the list , why?  Well I would say my mom  was the biggest influencer. she said, no outfit is complete without a wonderful fragrance. The scent is what people will remember you by -  that  and your appearance.  and of course the first 30 seconds is when you make the first impression.
