Somethings you can't change and somethings you can..the color of your hair, your appearance, or your shape - but I think one thing for me that has not changed is my taste in clothes.
i was never a blue jeans and tshirt type, but i do like how some girls can look gorgeous
in them. ( basically i didn't care for the stiffness of denim jeans and zippers. but never say never……)
I thought I would share my favorite things and styling thoughts.
no outfit is complete without a wonderful fragrance. The scent is what people will remember you by - that and your appearance. and of course the first 30 seconds is when you make the first impression.
Jewelry one of my other weaknesses -
a nice piece of jewelry can add to simple basic outfit the extra,
be it earrings, necklace or rings. A good piece will complete a look. invest in real gold piece that you love and will last. or the one piece of designer .
Shoes & Purses, ohhhh that really is another thing .
I love a interesting purse and shoes, but to start I think is important to get a nice leather shoe, heels and again quality leather. A good black pump, a pair of sandals and nice pair low heels to start.
Flowers… another big favorite of mine.
I can't imagine not having some flowers growing, or the colorful look it adds to a space. but if one does not have time to care for the real thing, then I get a silk flower that looks as close to real as possible.
Candles, well that goes without saying, it sets the mood and gives space a warm glow.
Velvet, its a big thing right now in fashion.
I love the look of velvet , its rich looking and I especially love a nice dark shade . A deep blue or crimson red will always be perfect to wear.
I have had one piece for several years and its something that works well over a simmpe dress or slacks.
Furs… yes it is luxe and it is perfect to keep warm, and now you can find some amazing faux furs.
So a touch of fur to an outfit is a definite love of mine.
The BASICS Black and white, beige, grey a starting point to fashion and even for interiors.
it is a simple white shirt with some fine details, that well fitted black blazer or a nice beige linen slack
that can be accessorized with so many things.
Color,adding this to your outfit is the extra punch.
So i like at least one colorful piece, pink dress or a colorful top , a beautiful scarf or a purse.
So give it a splash of color, it will make a big
difference .
