DOING SOME THINGS  while in lockdown SELF CARE & DIYs A FEW small SEWING PROJECTS I will say it has been a chance these last weeks to get into finding new things to do or try. Last week it was a requirement that we have to wear masks when going to the grocery stores or pharmacy, also when taking public transport. So making  face masks was something to do , luckily I received as a gift a new sewing machine which I have used a few times.  This time it was for making face masks and some lavender sachets. simple things that make a difference! The lavender sachets are for the  lavender I have dried and can hang in the closet, it is such a divine fragrance. The smell is also helps to sleep if you are having trouble to sleep. It is such a soothing smell. I use to sew a lot before, things for kids, summer shorts and hats, baby quilts etc. Now getting back into sewing is a bit like therapy. FEELING BORED? WHAT ABOUT A MOVIE? Yes being inside the four walls for weeks can get to one,  but I found watching a movie or two one of the ways to keep ones mind off the situation. So I thought I would like to see something  fashion related. Especially now when the idea of going shopping for fashion is not possible. Thought it would inspire me to get more dressed up or at least make an effort. Perhaps even spark a interest to get something new for summer. Even if just for wearing at home.  STAYING STYLISH & COMFORTABLE We have been hunkering down in our homes for a few weeks or more, of course this i s not the greatest time, especially now when it is warming up and the urge to be outside is great, but we all know how very important it is to keep safe and avoid contact. Well WE make the best of the situation or do things to keep ourselves busy I thought i share a few of  my latest shop my closet style. FASHION at Home - shop my closet version I find the simplest more minimal outfits the most comfortable and easier to wear , when being at home. A simple top, pair of slacks and slip on shoe. this is one of my go to outfits at home . pair of light slacks, in jersey knits. a comfortable top with support, and a plain shirt overtop.  Some accessories favourite rings or necklace .A very casual look   S OME OTHER LOOKS  -  Same slacks with 3 different tops.
