 MY FALL WISH LIST Well the summer went way to fast , i didn't really have time to do any shopping. But now I have the need for a few items ,  been looking for more dresses that can be worn in to fall.  The usual black dress in a simple style , scarfs and extras. FALL INSPIRATION some looks to wear for upcoming fall season. A cable knit sweater is always a good piece to add to any wardrobe, beige is a good choice. A pair of nice checklook slacks and a nice shoe  , a nice polished look. Another great look, the check coat , a scarf and the beret.  So smart looking. BLAZERS YES! Never can wrong with a blazer.  A great piece for Fall! NEUTRALS  a perfect mix a nice taupe dress , belted and classic coat. stylish classic look that can be worn for years.

  YES .... SPLISH , SPLASH TIME Are you ready to make a splash??  I sure am! The heat has got to me.  I am finally feeling some relief today   with the temperature cooled down (29C only ) and a heavenly breeze.  ARE YOU READY..... This week was the start of the Eurovision Song contest ... a truly amazing event held every year  since the late 50s. It captured the continent at a time of a change in media and TV , and has been probably one of the best things : It showcases singers from most of the European countries. Some went on to big music stars later,  such as Celine Dion she sang for Belgium (though Canadian) , other big names of course were ABBA.  Then there was the metal band from Finland .  So the song contest is really an exciting thing to watch.  This week the semi finals were held, on  Saturday the finals.  Who will win is  a huge surprise.  I watched some of it, and my favourites didn't make it , but there will be more to watch.  MORE TO SEE I am getting excited to see the FRIENDS new show.    ODE to SPRING There is one thing I have always liked to do when spring arrives and Easter weekend is near. Spring starts with flowers for inside or outside, the blooming branches set up on display, followed by a  change of dinnerware. I love to bring out the spring look dishes and enjoy our day with something cheery.  Now is the time for some cheering up..(another full lockdown). Adding some colour is always a cheer-me-up.  LIVE , LOVE & LAUGH  Well I hope everyone is handling these chaotic times, extended lockdowns, vaccine issues etc,.My mind went to overload last week, hearing the news. I just had to turn the news and all the other negative things off. Enough is Enough. It was time for a change and just to take care o f what I have control over. The other things I can't change I thought , so what to do....... start painting.  CREATIVE THERAPY I love art, going to the galleries and museums  , looking at the fabulous works of art from the masters. I remember the first time I saw Rembrandts night watch in  Amsterdam, it was astonishing and magnificent! It takes your breathe away.   So I checked out some paint kits to try.  What a wonderful way to spend the day.
