LE CHIC MODE

REFRESH TIME  Now that the weeather started to warm up it’s time for some new things needed in the beauty department.  The usual things that just perk a girl up.  Firstly some color and keeping  to the lighter shades. The lips and a nice lipstick is definitely a must have .   Secondly the nails always need extra attention,   Some lovely nail polish to brighten things . I rather like lighter shades, perhaps a coral or pink for something extra.  Next , a new eyeshadow kit. I rarely use eyeshadows much , actually I try bronzers for a light color which highlights my eye color I find.. But this kit is nice with the variety of shadows,. The off white for highlighting, some glittery ones and good blending  makes a big difference.  S8 what  are your go to beauty items for the summer?

  Time for some color  Finally the weather is warmer and can wear lighter clothes. I especially like to start the summer/spring with some color .  One of my favorites is a colorful knit on I bought years ago , a Liz Clairborn design.  It’s a piece that just say spring is here. After a long  , cold winter of wearing mostly dark or muted shades it’s nice to bring out something bright a cheery. 

 WELCOME SPRINGTIME  A wonderful time of the year. When the flowers start to bloom , the trees have new buds and the birds are singing. Also now we can put away those winter pieces and bring out the lighter clothing.  I’m especially looking forward to do some gardening .  May you have a wonderful time this spring. 

 Favorite things  I really didn’t go overboard with any purchases in 2023.  Trying to keep to the sustainable fashion idea  of shopping my closet or using what I have .  Mind you there were somethings I thought about getting like a new pair of sunglasses, some shoes  sandals, new purse , but I still need new sunglasses. My old pair has some scratches on them sadly.  The two pieces I did get I absolutely love . Firstly a linen blend blazer in cream shade. It goes with so many things so can’t wait to spring to wear it again.  Also the new wrap dress I bought in spring.  The color I loved , the fit and style is nice to wear for dinners out, parties or weddings. A very versatile piece.   The other item was from a previous year but I had forgotten about it  was a nice surprise. I wore it over Christmas holidays. and got compliments on it . A knit top with sparkle accents.  It was so comfortable and warm . Absolutely loved it.  What were your favorite things you bought in 2023!?  Whether clo
