SUMMER STYLE FOR WORK, TRAVEL or RELAXING When summer comes around I always think of certain fabric or colours that are more or less the usual summer look. Crisp whites, eyelet fabrics, linen , gingham prints,  stripes  or tropical prints. SUMMER WHITE Something I find white is a perfect canvas for almost all color combos,  white black,red, yellow, blues , navy , endless combinations. A white linen blazer, culottes and a cute top  - casual smart for work or relaxing.

COOL SUMMER HAIR  With the sweltering summer heat, the one thing I hate is having my hair feel like a wet mop on my head. First its not a pretty thing plus it is uncomfortable. Someone once told me.... No wonder your hot you have a fur hat on your head. (reason being I have thick hair) So whether it is longer or shorter it is nice to have some styling ideas and changes to how we fix our hair. THE  BODY ART TREND Tattoos have become a big trend  with some bloggers having some lovely simple ones. The tattoos are like pieces of art. ALL ABOUT THE FACE What is the first thing you notice about a person? Is it someones face, hair,  clothes, the smile, or shape. Probably most people notice the complete look. Now  a days you can get all sorts of help and info  online or via videos, How to fix this or that, how to make this or that, how to look good or use a certain product. The business of beauty products is one of the biggest  and beauty Vloggers are increasing. The top beauty blogger is YUYA. I think it is great for the young woman i.e.  to learn about product and how to use them. When i was a teenager, well i more or less just looked at photos and tried it out, rarely used much,  a lipstick and mascara . No pointers or tips, no makeup artists . GOLD, GOLD, GOLD... I have always had a love for most things sparkly and shiny, and especially the color gold. The one thing that lasts forever is a great REAL gold piece of jewelry .  There is rose gold, white gold but  my favourite is yellow gold.  So when i see one piece of jewelry that strikes me, the design of  then I will usually buy it.  Of course a gift in gold is a nice thing to get too!  But not only in jewelry in fashion too.  So the other day i was looking online for summer dress ideas,  then it caught my eye....  a gold beaded dress. WOW.  Okay so what , its a dress  but really what was so strange it was from a major store the is known for selling affordable fashions.   Then the price, well lets just say, it is pricey.   At first I thought must be a mistake. Hmm, so it you like golden things like me, or looking for a sparkly dress this might excite you. This is IT! Reminds me of the 1920s fashions, flapper styles. 

THE WEEKEND FINALLY! Fridays are for me Freedom day.... the work week is finally over and I can relax, kick off the heels,  and  enjoy a drink.  Its been an unusually hot spring and the summer it seems will be the same.   So naturally it nice to be home and sit outside  , light the barbecue and enjoy dinner al fresco.   Its a  thing about summertime that reminds me of summers spent in northern Europe, visiting family and spending the summers boating, eating fresh shrimps and mounds of delicious strawberries.  A oh so relaxing time.  Strolling over rocky coasts, or vast sand dunes that stretched on forever.  The long summer nights ....... NORDIC THINGS ...  HYGGE , LAX , IKEA The Scandinavian countries  come alive in the summer after the long winters, and it is their love of the outdoors nature and enjoying the small things.  No wonder the nordic countries are always top of the list of the best living standards.  Life is slower there. THE PRICE EXTRAORDINARY The world of fashion has always amazed me . As a young girl growing up and looking at fashion magazines or seeing the glamorous movies stars in the jewels and designer gowns.  The one fashion icon that always came to mind was Chanel, and Givenchy - of course the many others .  From fashion to accessories, shoes and purses, the purses of these famous designers were what the rich  collected. Now it seems every fashion blogger is carrying a Chanel bag or  some other designer bag.    The top of the pile in designer bags it seems is the Hermes bags. The great Kelly bag, named after Grace Kelly or the Birkin bag after  Jane B. Each of these purses is iconic and sought after. These bags are sold for a hefty price new . but there is another bag that  is over the top.  SUMMER NIGHTS AT A PALACE This holiday weekend was spectacular to say the least. From summer night concerts to movie stars the city was filled with major events. The most well known is the Sommernacht Symphony concert held  on the grounds of the Schloss Schonnbrunn. The Schloss is the former palace of the royals which is now used for special events and exhibitions.  So to have a chance to see a concert being performed live at such a magnificent place is a summer dream.  The magnificent Schloss with all its grandeur is  the absolute best place to have a summer night concert. With so many world class performers, opera singers to pianists it is the symphonies  gift to the city.  Wandering around the beautiful landscaped grounds  or seeing the stunning sculptures and fountains is so, so worth it.   The Schloss is highlighted with  streams of lights that change colours throughout the evening.  What can I say, its a dreamy place to be on a summer night in May. 

EASY DRESSING IS KEY There is something nice about having a outfit the goes to together, same fabric colour and style. IT makes it so much simpler to decide what to wear, just grab and go. Some days we all have a moment where we can't decide what to wear , or the look you want does work out. I actually love a coordinated set, whether it is  a suit for work or a casual look. Years ago I purchased a  complete silk set    with a jacket , vest skirt and slacks, it has lasted me years and I can still wear it. It a a mix of oriental style, knotted closures , standup collar and side slits. IT is the most coolest and comfortable outfit .   Silk is one fabric that is a summer material. So I think it is time  to get some new pieces , simple lines and great for summer SIMPLE AND EASY  that is what I want when it comes to an outfit. Something that looks stylish and comfortable.
