The world of fashion has always amazed me . As a young girl growing up and looking at fashion magazines or seeing the glamorous movies stars in the jewels and designer gowns. 

The one fashion icon that always came to mind was Chanel, and Givenchy - of course the many others .  From fashion to accessories, shoes and purses, the purses of these famous designers were what the rich  collected. Now it seems every fashion blogger is carrying a Chanel bag or  some other designer bag.   

The top of the pile in designer bags it seems is the Hermes bags. The great Kelly bag, named after Grace Kelly or the Birkin bag after  Jane B. Each of these purses is iconic and sought after.

These bags are sold for a hefty price new . but there is another bag that  is over the top.


HOLD ON  TO YOUR $$$$

Well a recent Hermes sold for the price of a house, yes that is what it sold for at auction. 
$380,000.00 for a  purse  made of white  crocodile and trimmed with  18K gold and diamonds.

The 2014 Himalaya Hermes set a record .What a deal!

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala  .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical  looks.  Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers.  My favorite look was Demi Moore’s  gorgeous gown  a really stunning dress.. CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

 Doing Denim  I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable.  For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short.  I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days.  Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it.  Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets.  There are so many ways to style a denim dress.  A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses  I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

Favorite Things 2023//fashion , items

 Favorite things  I really didn’t go overboard with any purchases in 2023.  Trying to keep to the sustainable fashion idea  of shopping my closet or using what I have .  Mind you there were somethings I thought about getting like a new pair of sunglasses, some shoes  sandals, new purse , but I still need new sunglasses. My old pair has some scratches on them sadly.  The two pieces I did get I absolutely love . Firstly a linen blend blazer in cream shade. It goes with so many things so can’t wait to spring to wear it again.  Also the new wrap dress I bought in spring.  The color I loved , the fit and style is nice to wear for dinners out, parties or weddings. A very versatile piece.   The other item was from a previous year but I had forgotten about it  was a nice surprise. I wore it over Christmas holidays. and got compliments on it . A knit top with sparkle accents.  It was so comfortable and warm . Absolutely loved it.  ...
