STADTFEST WIEN one great way to end the summer season with a city party.  September 2nd starting at 1pm will be  filled with a lot of events around the city with Acrobats and street musicians to entertain  everyone. the Mariahilfestrasse is the place to be and get more information. REFRESHING PLACE BEING ON HOLIDAYS IS ALWAYS A REFRESHER FOR THE MIND, BODY AND SOUL. WHAT I REALLY FOUND WONDERFUL WAS THE FEELING OF LESS. LESS STUFF FILLING THE SPACE, CLEAN LINES OR MINIMAL DECOR.  THE PLACE WE SPENT TIME  WAS THAT  A DANISH MINIMAL LOOK.  I BEGAN TO REALLY LIKE THE FEEL AND THE LOOK. THE LIGHT WOODS, ALMOST WHITEWASHED AND THE CRISP CLEAN LOOK OF MINIMAL FURNISHINGS. IT IS REALLY COMFORTABLE , BUT NOT OVERDONE. MODERN LAMP AND TABLE, WOOD DETAILS IT MADE ME FEEL FREER AND I DIDN'T FEEL SO OVERWHELMED WITH THINGS FILLING THE SPACE.  OKAY ITS NOT FILLED WITH THE THINGS WE MIGHT HAVE NORMALLY, MAGAZINES, BOOKS AND ALL THE OTHER THINGS BUT IT WAS AN INSPIRATION TO CHANGE OUR SPACE AND MAKE IT LESS CLUTTERED. THE IDEA OF A MINIMAL IS MAKING ME THINK ITS SOMETHING WE  CAN APPLY TO OUR PLACE.  LIKE THEY SAY,  LESS IS MORE  - IN FASHION AND PERHAPS IN DECOR TOO. HERE ARE A FEW INTERIORS TO INSPIRE YOU, IF YOU FEEL YOUR SPACE IS OVERWHELMING YOU.

WELL OUR  HOLIDAYS ARE SOON COMING TO THE END  , THIS TRIP HAS BEEN THE RECHARGE I NEEDED.  A TOTAL UNWINDING AND JUST RELAXING WITH FAMILY. A GET TOGETHER WAS PART OF THE PLAN , SO WE COULD ALL MEET AT A LOCATION THAT WAS SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE. PLUS IT WAS A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION ALSO. ( TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE) I DECIDED TO HAVE A BIRTHDAY BRUNCH  AND GETTING ON MY CHEFS HAT. TRUTH IS I AM NOT KEEN ON FUSSY , TO MANY INGREDIENTS RECIPES. B UT I FOUND A  WONDERFUL CASSEROLE DISH , THAT WAS PERFECT FOR HERE .  TAKING IN THE FACT FISH IS  A VERY BIG PART OF THE DANISH MEAL. SO IF YOU LOVE SMOKED SALMON  AND CHAMPAGNE FOR BRUNCH HERE IS A GREAT SIMPLE RECIPE. SCRAMBLE EGGS SMOKED SALMON CASSEROLE 1 PKG SMOKED SALMON  SLICES 10 -12 EGGS 1/.2 C MILK  BUTTER CHIVES GARNISH SALT PEPPER BEAT THE EGGS AND MILK AND CHIVES TOGETHER. PREHEAT SKILLET, ADD BUTTER TILL MELTED  - POUR IN THE EGG MIXTURE, SCRAMBLE AS IT COOKS WITH FORK.  COOK TILL EGGS ARE STILL SLIGHTLY MOIST. 

THE BEST TIME ..HOLIDAYS. Well just started a mini holiday and it is awesome. We decided to take a trip north - okay most of europe goes south i.e. Spain , italy or France -  but at this time of year it so crowded .  I love to spend time at the sea relaxing or exploring nature and DENMARK is really an amazingly cute place to visit, One word can describe it - QUAINT.  From the thatched roofs, picket fences or the wind swept beaches of the coast. We took a trip to  Romo , not Rome . It is an island off the west coast of Denmark . Imagine wide long sand beaches  extending miles and miles. The place is the  longest beach in Europe -  also the best place to ride  sail carts  on the beach. From windsurfers to kite surfers , horse back rides, cycling  or golfing. There is also a great camping area for families. There is plenty to do, see and explore.  S mall restaurants and hotels in the areas. serve  great fish dishes.  Cabins set in the  windswept dunes and the tall grass

COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK Danmark is more then the - Little Mermaid , Hans C Anderson and Tivoli . It also has a great fashion scene with many wonderfully talented designers. Here are just a few of the designs  from SS18 , yes that is next years looks , I am still working on this years looks, but some of the fashions are still part of the styles this year.   COPENHAGEN FASHIONS The look for fall winter is something I certainly would wear.  Classic suits , striped shirts, tailored skirts  , and red for the extra punch.
