PARKS , PICNICS & CAFES A sunny weekend outing  to the parks is always a good idea. This park is also a historical site, back 100s of years this was where battles were fought and won. The  armies of Austria, Bavaria, Poles and Saxons stopped the invasion by the Ottoman army . The park is Turkenschanze now it is a wonderful place to spend the day and enjoy the area. Walking the many paths, seeing the tower and being right in the city. The site is now a beautiful park  with water features, monuments , gardens  and much more. Happy SPRING EVERYONE I can say; I absolutely love SPRING when the flowers are starting to bloom and the spring rain showers freshens everything up!  So to celebrate  this wonderful season  think it be nice to share the moment with you too. One thing that really is nice about living here is there are so many outdoor cafes restaurants to try. So lets get spring hopping::::: nothing is more wonderful then getting  fresh strawberries at the market these ones are WOW mega yummy! Breakfast treat at CAFE LE CHIC:  who can resist a bowl of berries, croissants and coffee? Not me! A wonderful CAFE that is one of my favourite places to visit. Later a stroll along the Danube is always a nice way to relax and enjoy the nature and the spring  days.
