NEW Years CELEBRATION

the NEW YEARS CeLEBRATIONs have already started in places around the world

In austria or vienna it is the centre of the city that is the main event, with stages setup all around the city, performers, and  dancing in the street. There will be a dance lesson Waltzing  on the pedestrian only street-  a really great thing to take part in, and fun too!

  Fireworks have already started early, with people having their own celebration- but later is the main event and all over the city it is alight with fireworks.  So we plan to plug our ears and celebrate the evening with bubbly and music.




One thing that is part of the celebration also is a small GLUCKSBRINGER.  
A sort of lucky giftwhich is usually a  small marzipan piggy.   I think it also part of german and Scandinavian tradition .

CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

 Doing Denim  I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable.  For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short.  I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days.  Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it.  Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets.  There are so many ways to style a denim dress.  A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses  I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

Favorite Things 2023//fashion , items

 Favorite things  I really didn’t go overboard with any purchases in 2023.  Trying to keep to the sustainable fashion idea  of shopping my closet or using what I have .  Mind you there were somethings I thought about getting like a new pair of sunglasses, some shoes  sandals, new purse , but I still need new sunglasses. My old pair has some scratches on them sadly.  The two pieces I did get I absolutely love . Firstly a linen blend blazer in cream shade. It goes with so many things so can’t wait to spring to wear it again.  Also the new wrap dress I bought in spring.  The color I loved , the fit and style is nice to wear for dinners out, parties or weddings. A very versatile piece.   The other item was from a previous year but I had forgotten about it  was a nice surprise. I wore it over Christmas holidays. and got compliments on it . A knit top with sparkle accents.  It was so comfortable and warm . Absolutely loved it.  ...
