LOVING FRAGRANCES// fashions gift ideas

I absolutely love fragrance shops or the fragrance counters. That is alway s the first spot I stop when

out shopping (followed by shoes, jewellery shops)

Fragrances for me are the icing on the cake. Doesn't matter what you are wearing, but if you have

a fabulous fragrance on it makes you feel better - and people may notice your perfumes. How many times has someone stopped you and asked, What are you wearing, it smells lovely?

I have had that happened so often.

Of course not all fragrances are the same on everyone. And that is why I don't think its always great to suggest a certain perfume for someone ,because of the reason. I might like Chanel#5 , and someone else might not, for example.

But one thing I do recommend anyone, now is the time to check out Gift sets, I LOVE THEM!

Why? Well there is more things in the gift sets that are part of the fragrance, like bath oils, body lotions or an extra fragrance for the purse. It is also a good way to try out those products if you like them or not, and later want to buy it.

SO I am a gift set junky!

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

Doing Denim I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable. For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short. I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days. Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it. Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets. There are so many ways to style a denim dress. A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

Favorite Things 2023//fashion , items

Favorite things I really didn’t go overboard with any purchases in 2023. Trying to keep to the sustainable fashion idea of shopping my closet or using what I have . Mind you there were somethings I thought about getting like a new pair of sunglasses, some shoes sandals, new purse , but I still need new sunglasses. My old pair has some scratches on them sadly. The two pieces I did get I absolutely love . Firstly a linen blend blazer in cream shade. It goes with so many things so can’t wait to spring to wear it again. Also the new wrap dress I bought in spring. The color I loved , the fit and style is nice to wear for dinners out, parties or weddings. A very versatile piece. The other item was from a previous year but I had forgotten about it was a nice surprise. I wore it over Christmas holidays. and got compliments on it . A knit top with sparkle accents. It was so comfortable and warm . Absolutely loved it. ...
