HERE IS A LIST OF SOME OF FAVORITES, NEWER AND OLD.


 FOR THE ROMANTIC AT HEART.

HOLIDAYS with Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Jack Black   a cute comedy, house exchange and the rest you have to see for yourself. not really a true christmas film , but the scenes remind one of Xmas.

 LOVE ACTUALLY  a must see for comedy romance with hugh grant, emmy thompson ,kiera knightly   , liam neeson  


FOR KIDS + family

A CHILDS CHRISTMAS IN WALES ,  a nostaligic movie with funny moments and more. Sure to make you smile and laugh.Beautiful told story with Grandpa sharing his childhood and the grandson waiting for snow for the Christmas.

 A CHRISTMAS STORY , another comedy with a little boys christmas wish. Truly funny!! Mom, Dad brother and the  events the occur during the holidays.

 THE CHRISTMAS CAROL  the classic Charles Dicken and there are many remakes, I have seen most and 2 are worth watching . The old black and white with Alastair Sims  and a newer version with George C, Scott 

 the Jimmy Stewart classic is also  one to see.

 CHARLIE BROWNS CHRISTMAS, adorable animated film.

 PENGUINS  animated  but  I love penguins so why not?
GUY N GIRLS

 A CHRISTMAS TALE,  (Un conte de Noel) french film with Catherine Deneuve. Subtitled .
A family gathering at christmas a definite comedy with a twist.  love catherine always and  the french humour!

 GUESS WHOS COMING FOR DINNER not a Xmas one, but a classic romance for the time
katherine hepburn, spencer tracy , sidney poitier



GUY FILMS  .. this well i am not sure about, and i might be wrong about  Action films but

 for  the GUYS who don't care for the mushy stuff, the LETHAL WEAPONS  maybe. or some action film. DIE HARD, STAR WARS, episodes. as a new one is out now for the Xmas.

 CLIFFHANGER for action adventure in the mountains.

 SPYGames  robert redford , brad pitt , action thrill  ALL A GUY NEEDS.

 SNEAKERs. techno thriller,  big stars with Robert Redford, Sidney Poitier and more

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala  .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical  looks.  Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers.  My favorite look was Demi Moore’s  gorgeous gown  a really stunning dress.. CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

 Doing Denim  I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable.  For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short.  I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days.  Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it.  Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets.  There are so many ways to style a denim dress.  A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses  I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

Favorite Things 2023//fashion , items

 Favorite things  I really didn’t go overboard with any purchases in 2023.  Trying to keep to the sustainable fashion idea  of shopping my closet or using what I have .  Mind you there were somethings I thought about getting like a new pair of sunglasses, some shoes  sandals, new purse , but I still need new sunglasses. My old pair has some scratches on them sadly.  The two pieces I did get I absolutely love . Firstly a linen blend blazer in cream shade. It goes with so many things so can’t wait to spring to wear it again.  Also the new wrap dress I bought in spring.  The color I loved , the fit and style is nice to wear for dinners out, parties or weddings. A very versatile piece.   The other item was from a previous year but I had forgotten about it  was a nice surprise. I wore it over Christmas holidays. and got compliments on it . A knit top with sparkle accents.  It was so comfortable and warm . Absolutely loved it.  ...
