I am so impressed with this article on the BBC . 100 women in 2016 and surprise is this is not about
the politicians , celebrities etc. It is about women and those that have made changes in many different ways.

Here are just 3 of those 100 …….

A NEW DESIGNER
So far I have read about a young girl who has Downs syndrome and she had difficulties to get clothes to fit her body type , most things needed to be altered.
Well her interest was in fashion, she learnt sewing and eventually started to design clothes. Now she has her clothing on the runways in London. This is inspiring story and SHE is a inspiration for young women.

MODELS plus
Another interesting 100 women is Iskra Lawrence. She is a plus size model who is out to change the
role of women in the modeling industry and the idea of beauty and plus size. She was modeling but told she was to BIG for the industry and then to small for the Plus size sector. So of course that did not stop her. Her story is important for all young girls women that the modeling world or fashion is for all and not only for a certain size.

BEAUTY IMAGE
Another really Beautiful girl is Winnie Harlow. She makes being confident and beautiful for
those with a skin condition not the main focus and she is a top model too. A wonderful story.

These 100 woman and I sure there 1000s and more that have made changes, but are not in the limelight or celebrities. But THEY have something to say and share with all of us.

CONFIDENCE , COURAGE , ACCEPTING and SUPPORTING ALL WOMEN IS KEY TO CHANGE.

MET GALA 2024// fashion , MET gala

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

Doing Denim I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable. For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short. I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days. Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it. Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets. There are so many ways to style a denim dress. A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

Favorite Things 2023//fashion , items

Favorite things I really didn’t go overboard with any purchases in 2023. Trying to keep to the sustainable fashion idea of shopping my closet or using what I have . Mind you there were somethings I thought about getting like a new pair of sunglasses, some shoes sandals, new purse , but I still need new sunglasses. My old pair has some scratches on them sadly. The two pieces I did get I absolutely love . Firstly a linen blend blazer in cream shade. It goes with so many things so can’t wait to spring to wear it again. Also the new wrap dress I bought in spring. The color I loved , the fit and style is nice to wear for dinners out, parties or weddings. A very versatile piece. The other item was from a previous year but I had forgotten about it was a nice surprise. I wore it over Christmas holidays. and got compliments on it . A knit top with sparkle accents. It was so comfortable and warm . Absolutely loved it. ...
