LONG TIME , NO SEE

 Like the title says.... long time, no see.

It's been awhile since I have posted anything , one of those things when one has no inspiration. It's been such a roller coaster last few years for all of us.   So I hope most of you are doing well and keeping sane.

FASHION was really one of the least important things....  after so many lockdowns . Why dress up when easy dressing was the thing. Lounge wear, sweatpants or sleepwear  were so comfortable.    I know some blogger were great at posting their  casual stay at home styles. 

Well the more I  got to thinking the blog became less of interest, and I just needed a break. But now with spring around the corner I hope to get back into posting a bit more.

Starting with the new film that is out , House of Gucci story. I had no idea that was the world of  Gucci, the crime.  It looks very interesting , especially with Lady Gaga in the key role  of the wife and Adam Driver playing the part of Gucci.   



Have you seen the film? 


Another interesting film coming out  is the Diana film with Kristen Stewart. Amazing how similar she looks to Diana. The fashions of the time, and the life of a royal.  A look back that seems to never tire.




If you have seen them, it be interesting to know  your impressions of them.

    So lovely to see a new post from you. I’ve been keen to watch the new Diana film too, it looks interesting. I’ve been recording films on the TV, and recently I watched Bewitched with Nicole Kidman. Let’s hope for better things soon. :-) xx

      Nice to hear from you... been long time since i posted anything. hopefully will be back at it i hope.
      Great to get some different moves to watch. she is also in the new film lucille ball hmmm the diana film looks like its good who knows?? Enjoy

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala  .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical  looks.  Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers.  My favorite look was Demi Moore’s  gorgeous gown  a really stunning dress.. Pockets please!!/ fashion

  Well as the title says…. Pocket s please!  This week has been a very painful week. I recently injured my knee badly. Not able to move stand or walk. When finally bit better I finally  managed to move . I needed something to wear that I could put my phone in , glasses medicine in. Any dress I thought I could use didn’t have pockets for anything.  Why???  When I think back there usually  were pocket inserts nicely sewn  on inside of slacks or dresses.  Now you rarely find that .  I guess it’s a cost saving , less material needed and no extra time used sewing a pockrr er r in.  Maybe it’s to give an outfit a more neat look, no bulging pockets.   Meanwhile mens wear there are always pockets.  Do you like outfit with pockets?

THIS and THAT//fashion , festival

 Season Changes Well it has finally cooled down which makes it bearable to be outside. Naturally the swimming pools , lakes and rivers have seen plenty o people .  Festivals , Films  and Fashion  The festival season is winding down,  but one that I anxiously wait for is the Venice Film festival. A movie and fashion lover can’t miss it!  The return of Clooney on screen in  Venice with his gorgeous wife is a highlight.  Her fabulous fuchsia gown with the train was stunning . She stole the show!  Of course there were other stars on the red carpet  but no outstanding dresses .  Movies some are getting mentioned . For myself I’m not  sure what I be tempted to watch.  Julia  Roberts new one about college professor sexual harassment is a serious topic . Not light entertainment.  One film with Helen mirren, pierce Brosnan  about senior mystery book club sounds like light entertainment. The actors are all over 60 , s...
