SPRING IS IN THE AIR ..…. not yet!// DIY




WELL THE WEATHER IS STILL CHILLY FREEZING   SOON THE FLOWERS WILL START TO BLOOM.
BUT I CANT WAIT FOR IT!! SO I CAME ACROSS A DIY TO MAKE  PAPER FLOWERS.
FLOWERS THAT WILL LAST AND ADD SOME SPARK IN ANY ROOM .

IF YOU WANT TO ADD SOME COLOR TO YOUR SPACE THAT IS SIMPLE AND CHEAP
THEN MAYBE YOU WILL LIKE THIS DIY.

  • NEED TISSUE PAPER, SMALL BOWL, SPRAY BOTTLE, WATER, PAINTS.
  •  ONE SILK FLOWER FOR BASE REMOVE THE PETALS -  
  • WRAP THE  TISSUE FLOWER AROUND BASE.
  • KEEP ADDING MORE .WRAP  FLORIST TAPE   TO SECURE PETALS.

VOILA  A LOVELY FLOWER !!

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala  .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical  looks.  Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers.  My favorite look was Demi Moore’s  gorgeous gown  a really stunning dress.. CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

 Doing Denim  I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable.  For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short.  I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days.  Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it.  Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets.  There are so many ways to style a denim dress.  A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses  I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

Favorite Things 2023//fashion , items

 Favorite things  I really didn’t go overboard with any purchases in 2023.  Trying to keep to the sustainable fashion idea  of shopping my closet or using what I have .  Mind you there were somethings I thought about getting like a new pair of sunglasses, some shoes  sandals, new purse , but I still need new sunglasses. My old pair has some scratches on them sadly.  The two pieces I did get I absolutely love . Firstly a linen blend blazer in cream shade. It goes with so many things so can’t wait to spring to wear it again.  Also the new wrap dress I bought in spring.  The color I loved , the fit and style is nice to wear for dinners out, parties or weddings. A very versatile piece.   The other item was from a previous year but I had forgotten about it  was a nice surprise. I wore it over Christmas holidays. and got compliments on it . A knit top with sparkle accents.  It was so comfortable and warm . Absolutely loved it.  ...
