THE TRENDS love or hate?

Well the trends of the year were interesting to see , so many new things.

Starting with handbags, shoes and the fashions.

HANDBAGS

from the mini handbag, belt bags and the saddle , purses.
Croc look is one look that is going to be out there this fall and it is for me a CLASSIC.

Wicker was everywhere again this year, like last year. So it is worth finding

a nice wicker tote.

I have to say purses are my love, so I am all for the bags that were out this year.

JEWELRY go small or big

jewelry is really a personal thing, some like bigger some like small delicate pieces.

I adore most jewelry, in most combinations and designs.

So for me , I say wear what you like. Its your personal piece .

SHOES

Strappy barely there sandals were seen everywhere this summer, I love the look

but I can't imagine the shoe to be to comfortable or wearable for a long time.

Though they do look lovely on the foot, Yes girls will suffer to look gooD!

Square toe or pointed are the latest fashion. Colourful also is big for season.

DRESSES

Slip one on... the SLIP was everywhere. Worn in so may different ways.

I think it was great piece to add to the wardrobe. So thumbs up!

Pantsuits or Co ordinated pieces

I am a sucker for a nice suit , and co ordinate pieces . The look is complete

and polished looking.

From the colourful to the classic check, both are ideal.
anytime, any season!

NEONS flashback 90s

A colourful comeback.
It does grab the eye for sure
though not for everyone.

The hot pink is still out there on the fashion scene
the shoes and outfits. Definitely not boring!

HAIR ADORNMENT

Anything to keep ones hair in place or looking good is a good thing.

. From pearl clips, to scruncies or headbands, just add a little interest.

My bag of hair clips is growing.

PEARLS PEARLS More pearls.

Pearls were big again. From pearls on sweater , shoes, and bags.

Anything beaded is Chic , I think.

Whether you like it as a necklace,

or carry it, pearls are always classy.

They go from elegant to fun worn with jeans or suits.

OVERALL I loved most of the trends this season, each trend was

definitely a more feminine side, with a few exceptions.

MET GALA 2024// fashion , MET gala

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

Doing Denim I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable. For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short. I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days. Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it. Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets. There are so many ways to style a denim dress. A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

Favorite Things 2023//fashion , items

Favorite things I really didn’t go overboard with any purchases in 2023. Trying to keep to the sustainable fashion idea of shopping my closet or using what I have . Mind you there were somethings I thought about getting like a new pair of sunglasses, some shoes sandals, new purse , but I still need new sunglasses. My old pair has some scratches on them sadly. The two pieces I did get I absolutely love . Firstly a linen blend blazer in cream shade. It goes with so many things so can’t wait to spring to wear it again. Also the new wrap dress I bought in spring. The color I loved , the fit and style is nice to wear for dinners out, parties or weddings. A very versatile piece. The other item was from a previous year but I had forgotten about it was a nice surprise. I wore it over Christmas holidays. and got compliments on it . A knit top with sparkle accents. It was so comfortable and warm . Absolutely loved it. ...
