$$$So much in the news about the tarifs and how prices on things have gone up. For many people with families it has effected them greatly . The cost for food, power etc has increased greatly.
Tips to help cut some costs.
We had changed all te light bulbs to energy efficient bulbs. Compared to regular bulbs they are more pricey but energy use is much less. The energy bill is much lower.
Another item we use is a power bar to plug in the different electric things. They’re are2types we use. One has plug for few items and main on of switch. When not using the things turn off the power bar . No power is bein drawn by things .plug in.
Heavy duty Power strip
Another multi plug power strip bar comes with more spots to plug in things. , at each socket there is a on off switch . So if you have a lot of different things plug in just turn on the one you want to use .
Every y appliance when plugged in uses power whether you are using it.or not. Of course somethings are needed to kept on ie refrigerators freezers , ,alarm clock radio . but a coffee pot or micro maybe not.

Green Thumb
I love flowers seeing the colorful blossoms really is uplifting. Also it adds a lot to the outside. But I decided I will try to grow other things. Last year we had some berry bushes .actually grew a few different berries . But space was limited and not enough sunlight.

Strawberries blueberries a favorite summer treat . Strawberry pots work well if you have no or limited space . Growing things in pots works. I started growing lettuce tomatoes in pots . To grow more I use larger a plastic storage container with lid . Drill holes in bottom , add drainage small rocks then potting soil. Use the lid under container to collect water .
