A SPA DAY at HOME
Treat yourself, why not?
What better way to relax then treat yourself to a home spa day! Europeans are known for their spas and resorts. Almost all Germans and Austrians take time to go to a spa. It is part of their lifestyle , their regime winter or summer.At home you can treat yourself to your own Spa.
Starting with some lush towels, room diffuser using a essential oil, some zen music and candles.
Sounds perfect.
But another thing that is perfect for
spa day is using the old fashion treatments , Epsom salts.
whether it is the colder damp weather or overdoing things - the aches and pains are not the best feeling. For now I do the RICE treatment, rest, ice, compress and excerises.
But the best thing I found works is a nice hot bath and the old favourite of epsom salts .
My mom alway had bag of salts in the bathroom, She said it works to relax sore muscles . So
it has been the treatment of lately.
Epsom salts have magnesium which is important for muscles and sulphur. It is also suppose to remove the toxins from the body. It was used over many years as a treatment.
Another good treatment is simple baking soda added to the warm water.
Sometimes it is the old methods that work the best to treat aches and pains.
So time to relax and enjoy a heavenly soak.
