SPRING DELIGHTS

Spring is the time I look forward to the most. The beautiful flowers and gardens are starting to blossom, more people are sitting out and enjoying the sunshine, warmer weather and the amazing sounds of the birds. Something for a city dweller I had not really experienced before, we would have to go outside of the city to hear the birds singing. So this city seems to also be a natural paradise for the birds too.

Gardens and Parks

this time of year are starting to show the beautiful colors as flower displays are starting to blossom. From the Schonnbrunn park, to the famous Belvedere or the Donaupark .

The season of spring is in full swing. Soon the live music concerts will begin and tourists from all over the world come to see and listen to world class performers on the stage.

RUNNERS SET GO.....

First there is the Boston marathon, then London and then Wien.... the numbers of runner or joggers is amazing. World class runners that participate are always a draw. To see some of the best runners in the world. This weekend will be perfect with the temperatures up to 30C .

THE CYCLING LIFE

This time of month the city is bursting with activities some of the major ones that I looked forward to

were the Bike a thon a yearly event held to promote cycling in the city.

There are so many wonderful bike paths through the city. A very safe way to see more places and sights. If you don't have a bike there are handy street rentals , simple fast and easy. I have yet to discover all the different bike paths, after a riding past some outdoor cafes then it is time to take a break.

So whats not to love about Spring in this city. It is a city that makes one really want to sing like a bird too.

MET GALA 2024// fashion , MET gala

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. Keeping Warm - Fashion Style

POP of COLOR Yes it is something we all want need. Keeping warm in the cold winter months. One of favorite knit top has been my steady Look. The fact it has a large cowl neck collar that I pull up over my face when it’s windy outside. It is comfortable and feels cozy . The color is vibrant on those dull dreary days . A pop of color is nice to see during the winter season when mostly black seems to be the color of choice. The Accessories . I love to add a few accessories also. Bracelets add a little interest to the look . The three sterling silver bangles worn over sleeve looks good , as well as the multi twist bracelet. Ps The photo does not show the true color . It’s a very vibrant blue shade . Looks dull . After a few retakes no change. Camera issues.

DRESS. It up//fashion style

DRess It Up A simple grey knit top is something I had been looking for sometime. Grey is not usually my pick, but I thought time to try some other neutral shade. The top is tunic style and loose fitting . Definitely a comfort piece. I decided to add some different accessories to it. This shiny silver piece just a bit of interest to the plain top. Accessories are really a great way to give an outfit a different look. Love this multi strand necklace . It suits this knit top, not to delicate but fun and an interesting piece.
