PARIS IN THE SPRINGTIME

All the world is drawn to Paris for many different reasons. The city of love, cobble stoned streets, artist , the Notre Dome , Versailles ....  need I say more. It is the city of lights or dreams, known for its

famous French cuisine, French champagne and wines  and river Seine. The one city the perhaps has seen more artist, writers , poets then any other. 

But  lets see what else is interesting about the city.

ONLY A RITZ WILL DO

Well my love of  art and design is one reason I would go to this beautiful city..  (and of course people watching along the Champs Elysee)  but another reason is the upcoming HOTEL RITZ auction.

The hotel is undergoing some renovations , so furnishings, rugs, light fixtures are on the auction block. A momento from the Ritz would be oh la la.. 

I can only imagine there are many people that would love to have a piece s from this historical hotel.

To think of all the famous people that have had the chance to visit this magnificent place is numerous.

Politicians, celebrities and royals all have lounged in the hotel (once owned by Al Fayad family).

So what to see and find on the auction list is my dream holiday.... maybe  a simple dinner set or nice bathrobe  will do.   from the RITZ.  

Yes i can dream......... life is to short not too!
