The month is zooming by so quickly and already the push to get things for Christmas has started.
As much as I love the season, I find the onslaught of ads and sales can be to overwhelming
For me this time of year is when I think more of decorating or making some small changes inside.

Simple things that are not overly expensive but make me feel the space is comfortable .
One way I find that make a big impact is art. Lately I have had a interest in posters.
Trying to find the RIGHT poster for a space. What is nice about posters is the size, they
can fill a wall nicely, usually they are colourful and very interesting.

Posters were very popular as a way to advertise , promote a place or sport. Some of the
great posters you might have seen are of the french theme, Warhol Marilyn Monroe, Campbell soup can or the Olympics and many others.

For the next few months in Vienna there is a showing of posters being held at the MUK ,
something different to see for anyone visiting the city during Christmas time. (and happen to like pop art) then it is something to check out.

MET GALA 2024// fashion , MET gala

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

Doing Denim I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable. For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short. I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days. Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it. Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets. There are so many ways to style a denim dress. A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

Favorite Things 2023//fashion , items

Favorite things I really didn’t go overboard with any purchases in 2023. Trying to keep to the sustainable fashion idea of shopping my closet or using what I have . Mind you there were somethings I thought about getting like a new pair of sunglasses, some shoes sandals, new purse , but I still need new sunglasses. My old pair has some scratches on them sadly. The two pieces I did get I absolutely love . Firstly a linen blend blazer in cream shade. It goes with so many things so can’t wait to spring to wear it again. Also the new wrap dress I bought in spring. The color I loved , the fit and style is nice to wear for dinners out, parties or weddings. A very versatile piece. The other item was from a previous year but I had forgotten about it was a nice surprise. I wore it over Christmas holidays. and got compliments on it . A knit top with sparkle accents. It was so comfortable and warm . Absolutely loved it. ...
