THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT

As we start to get excited and looking forward to holidays and the company , there are those that
aren't having the best season.  They are perhaps alone , not able to celebrate due to lack of money, or
have lost a family member. (thinking about those in London) . But there is always a good story to share about this time of year. 

A feel good story is always special at this time of year.



I came across a story about a man in Florida who decided to help 36 families whose heating bills were overdue and about to be turned off. To imagine someone not having heat to keep warm in winter
is really unbelievable. For some it is a problem whether to buy food for their families or keep utilities .  Well this man paid their heating bill , what a great goodwill thing to do.


So when we have a chance to help others it can be small  or big,  it can make a difference to a person or family. Whether it is a box of cookies, a drive to the stores, shovelling the walk or just visited someone who is sick or alone, it can mean so much.

MET GALA 2024// fashion , MET gala

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala  .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical  looks.  Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers.  My favorite look was Demi Moore’s  gorgeous gown  a really stunning dress.. Spring style// fashion

Comfort and Simple Well last month was a  bit unsettled weather/wise I still needed to wear a coat in the mornings . Chance of rain , wind as the saying goes. April showers bring May flowers .t Naturally when the weather is unsettled a decent jacket coat is needed.  My one favorite is a trench coat.  The basic trench coat is also stylish.  A very classic style.  I wear it often in spring over a casual top , slacks and flat leather shoes .  Or a nice tweed skirt and knit top Simple but comfortable .   What your go to outfit for spring?
