🎃🍃 Happy October Everyone! 🍁🍂🍂

Here the feeling of fall is in full swing, chilly crisp mornings and the trees are turning golden. Its getting darker earlier too.

I have to say I was a bit down when the flowers outside started to die off. The terrace lost all the lovely colours that I loved to sit outside with over summer. But not to despair, there are things I can do to make sure we have some colours still and later in spring.

I got some heather to plant in the pots and it really revived the area with the colors of white, deep purples and crimson. It really adds a lot. Plus they are winter hardy and should grow back.

VAN GOGHS IRISES

Another plan is get bulbs and plant them now, so there are flowers and a burst of colour

for spring. The usual flower that comes to mind are tulips but there are many spring bulbs to choice from , my favourites are the Irises. So now is the time to get them planted.

I can't wait to see them bloom in the spring.

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. Doing Denim I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable. For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short. I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days. Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it. Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets. There are so many ways to style a denim dress. A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

The MORNINGS DELIGHT What is the first thing you have in the morning a cup of tea or coffee? Tea or coffee , both are popular and the drink of choice for many people. I only lately started to drink coffee with flavoured creamer, French Vanilla or Hazelnut flavour. Tea, I will drink more when I am not feeling well with lemon. Recently I was reading an article about tea and how some brands have plastic in the teabags. Who knew or would think there be plastic in TEABAGS. There is one brand that mentions on the packaging it contains no PLASTIC. A test was done to see which teabags contains plastic, surprising most did. You can read more about it here via BBC TEA or a video TEABAGS COFFEE , good for you? Coffee, the smell of a pot of cooking in the morning is devine. I like to have a cup with my favourite flavour.
