YOUNG INFLUENCERS in SOCIAL MEDIA // fashion

Its important for anyone no matter whether big or small, physically challenged or able to have a chance to do what they want or like, and social media is now one way some of us can show off our style or talents.

I recently read about some disabled influencers that are now able to share their styles or talents, more recently a young woman with downs syndrome was modelling . It certainly has helped with access to social media to showcase some of these interesting people.

I can relate to some those in wheelchairs, as I have relatives that are disabled from a young age. Though there was no social media then, it might have made a change for them in some ways. Though they are disabled they both have full lives working and being involved in many things. I can recall when I visited them , how people stared or would not acknowledge them. She would not let that bother her, she did her thing. She also loved to try beauty products that I would bring her to try and would help to apply it. That was one of her of many interests.

BEAUTY or FASHION

One of the influencers is a young lady Tess Daly in the UK, she is a beauty influencer with over 200,000 followers. Another is Pippa Stacey she has worked with Tesco and others, There certainly are many more people that are involved in the marketing or social media.

I think it is fantastic they are doing what they are doing and showing more diversity in fashion , beauty or the other areas of social media.

MET GALA 2024// fashion , MET gala

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

Doing Denim I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable. For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short. I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days. Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it. Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets. There are so many ways to style a denim dress. A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

SPRING LOOK //Fashion , Style, Spring

Time for some color Finally the weather is warmer and can wear lighter clothes. I especially like to start the summer/spring with some color . One of my favorites is a colorful knit on I bought years ago , a Liz Clairborn design. It’s a piece that just say spring is here. After a long , cold winter of wearing mostly dark or muted shades it’s nice to bring out something bright a cheery.
