CYCLING ADVENTURE

In one of my last posts I mentioned getting my bicycle ready for riding.  then i happened to find something i  was missing for my bike,    a few accessories  like  tire pump,  and the tools. 

Found this handy set so will be all set for any flat tire issue....... i hope.



















SPRING THINGS

A new set of dishes for outdoors  is just what we needed . like the soft pastel shades and the fact  don't need to worry if they break.........
This set reminds me of spring and will add some colour to dining  al fresco. 

Next will have to find a nice table covering to set them on.  Some print perhaps?



 





PLUS more......... LAVENDER!

YES   I have an addiction for lavender!  L ast years plant is looking a bit straggly , so something GREEN with flowers is needed outside.  Somehow it never seems to grow back like this photo.  Any tips???

    Lovely post, I enjoyed hearing about your new bicycle. I have lavender in the garden, and my tip is to prune the tops of the shoots in springtime just as the new growth is coming through. They last up to about five years and then need replacing. They are a lovely plant and the smell is gorgeous. :-) xx

    Thank you so, so much for the info on lavender. I have tried so many summers to get it them to grow.... will definitely try your tip. Didn't know that only lasted so long.. thought they were a permanent plant... hmm

CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

 Doing Denim  I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable.  For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short.  I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days.  Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it.  Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets.  There are so many ways to style a denim dress.  A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses  I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

Favorite Things 2023//fashion , items

 Favorite things  I really didn’t go overboard with any purchases in 2023.  Trying to keep to the sustainable fashion idea  of shopping my closet or using what I have .  Mind you there were somethings I thought about getting like a new pair of sunglasses, some shoes  sandals, new purse , but I still need new sunglasses. My old pair has some scratches on them sadly.  The two pieces I did get I absolutely love . Firstly a linen blend blazer in cream shade. It goes with so many things so can’t wait to spring to wear it again.  Also the new wrap dress I bought in spring.  The color I loved , the fit and style is nice to wear for dinners out, parties or weddings. A very versatile piece.   The other item was from a previous year but I had forgotten about it  was a nice surprise. I wore it over Christmas holidays. and got compliments on it . A knit top with sparkle accents.  It was so comfortable and warm . Absolutely loved it.  ...
