NEW THINGS ... be it fashion or more


It always seems fall is a great time to try new  things , be it in fashion, or a new course, or something creative.

Lately I have  been working on a project to make our place more minimal    So making something for a special room or space is something  I would like to try.

Firstly the front entry way. Well this is the main entrance and only entrance . It is okay, but really lacks  warmth  or color.  An all white  tall closet, shoe storage and a lot of doors 4 in total. ITs long and narrow with no where to place your purse or sit down.  NOT my Favourite ideal place.

Storage is limited , and  my guy picked all the things for the place.- before my time. An all male decor. So to start off  I think it will  nice change to warm the spot up.

Decor Design for Small Space


Number 1 Flooring

  • entry ways need a durable flooring for wet shoes or boots.  
  • so i picked out some slate flooring for part of the entry.  
  •   a wood look laminate for the  rest.  give it warmth and the much needed colour


Number 2 Storage seating

  • seating  a small bench or chair 
  • a drawer dresser to hold all the woolies, hats scarfs and  extra bags
  • mail drop-off etc.


Number 3  ART or Decoration

  • Pictures ,  love black and white i.e. archtiecutal images 
  • Large prints are best for small space so it does not look to cluttered or busy. A statement piece. like the last image.
  • Plant  a small green plant   faux as there are no windows or lights 
  • Mirror. last but no least
  • Large wicker baskets for flyers newspaper recyclables

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala  .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical  looks.  Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers.  My favorite look was Demi Moore’s  gorgeous gown  a really stunning dress.. Keeping Warm - Fashion Style

 POP of COLOR Yes it is something we all want need. Keeping warm in the cold winter months.  One of favorite knit top has been my steady Look. The fact it has a large cowl neck collar that I pull up over my face  when it’s windy outside.  It is comfortable and feels cozy . The color is vibrant on those dull dreary days .  A pop of color is nice to see during the winter  season when mostly black seems to be the color of choice.  The Accessories .  I love to add a few accessories also.  Bracelets add a little interest to the look .  The three sterling silver bangles worn over sleeve looks good  , as well as the multi twist bracelet.  Ps  The photo does not show the true color .  It’s a very vibrant blue shade . Looks dull .  After a few retakes no change.  Camera issues.

DRESS. It up//fashion style

DRess It Up A simple grey knit top  is something I had been looking for sometime. Grey is not usually my pick,  but I thought time to try some other neutral shade.  The top is tunic style and loose fitting . Definitely a comfort piece.  I decided to add some different accessories to it.  This shiny silver piece just a bit of interest to the plain top.  Accessories are really a great way to give an outfit a different look.      Love this multi strand necklace . It suits this knit top, not to delicate but fun and an interesting piece.
