HOW FABULOUS IS THAT TIARA?  Every  year around this time the latest design of the tiara for the Opernball  that is held in Vienna is  shown and this year the designer is DonatellaVersace.   This beauty is made with Swarovski crystals  and it is  absolutely stunning! All the debutaines will be wearing this gorgeous tiara  at the ball held in February .  It is such a grand event to see with the young ladies dressed in white and the escorts in their tuxedos. As you can imagine it is the highlight of the ball season and there are so many more held.  It is  hard to follow just how many there are, but most  are wonderful and held in various locations throughout the city.

SHOPPERS DREAM or NIGHTMARE? Do you go crazy over Black Friday sales? What are the things you are looking for or getting? I truthfully never really got into the black Friday thing. Why`, well I suppose I thought there are always sales and deals, every weekend or other especially in north America. What is the big deal? Some places stores are open 7 days a week , so shopping is part of the culture.  But for those looking to get bargains or not the Friday is a shoppers dream. WOMEN WHO INSPIRE Everyday there are women working, raising a family or taking care of others plus taking care of the home and there are times it can be very overwhelming. It involve a lot of multi tasking and organization. I must say, it can be tough being a women or a girl. WHAT I  WISH FOR THIS CHRISTMAS Besides the usual fragrances or jewelry and the other smaller things pjs and books.  I was thinking  i would love to get a cashmere sweater, but then reading about the quality or lack of   in some products  thought it be disappointing if the item is not great.  So i wondered is it worth spending 200euros +  for something that will not last or look like new after only a few wears or perhaps just a nice wool sweater. THE MICHELIN STAR  A well known guide to the worlds best restaurants and the michelin star is the  creme de la creme  of all for a  Chef or restaurant to achieve . It is the ultimate for any chef to receive  and be awarded a star.  I am no  expert but it must be almost like setting foot on the moon or winning a the world cup in a sport. Not an easy achievement but it is also mostly awarded to men , as the industry is dominated by males. Only recently has a WOMAN received this famous star  . the  ROYAL JEWELS of MARIE ANTOINETTE At a recent  Sotheby's auction in Geneva some very historical pieces of jewelry were auctioned that once belonged to the French royal Marie Antionette.  A most beautiful  diamond pearl pendant , diamond ring with the initials MA and other royal pieces To my surprise  I read she  was a  Austrian princess that married the French prince Louis at a young age. She was born in Vienna at the royal winter palace Hofburg. VERSATILE  OR TRENDY STYLES Fashion trends are always changing and instagram or influencers are where a lot of girls get  inspiration from  -  but lately in the news there are more and more reports on substantiality or  being conscious of how and where things are made. Fast fashion as it is known is one of the major ones that bring out trends for each season . There is always something new. Sometimes it is hard to decide what to get or try. If you are keen to follow a certain fashion or trend  and don't want to spend a lot  as i have mentioned previously  probably the best way is to try a trend in a small way,example animal prints .    If you like it but not a complete look  then shoes,  handbag or scarfs  are an option So what is important versatility or trends?  I think if you really really love a trend then okay, go for it. but if not then wait. THE TIME CHANGES  Last weekend we turned our clocks back  for the daylight saving to standard time.  In Europe there is a debate about keeping  daylight saving or not. For whatever reasons,lighter in the morning darker earlier in the evening, etc.  So wait to see what the voting decides.   One way or another I am still tired and sleepy.   Clock change or not.  Why? we have  remote electric bed, wonderful for sitting up for reading or surfing the net , but when it quit working and was in the upright position well it was  a disaster!  My side would not lower. So sitting up trying to ZZZ was dreadful. But luckily a simple fix days later and its lowered:  and staying that way! Which brings me to the  point of SLEEPWEAR.  I find once the chill and darker evenings start,  I just want to get into something cozy and warm whether its PJs , a nightgown or loungewear. 6 PERFECT LOUNGE or NIGHTWEA...
